Intend to revisit the old shop. As I turn into this lane, saw one car reversing out and notice all the other parking lots are occupied. So I signal me intention to turn in once the car is out but to my horror, the shop worker place a cone on the empty parking as the car reversed out. As this the only empty parking and it is in front of New Tuck Kee, I hand signal the worker that I intend to eat here. The worker removed the cone and I parked. We scroll through the menu, all looks the same as the old shop. So I order yut kong hor, baby octopus and wanton mee cook in gravy. Yut kong hor almost there in taste but the octopus like rubber and tasteless. Wanton mee has a weird taste. We left half a plate of octopus and could not continue to eat the wanton mee. No wonder the shop is empty. After we paid and walk pass the old shop, it was full. Will never come back even if there is empty parking in front. Not sure how this restaurant only a few steps away from the legendary one which serves noodles just as good can be in business for this many years can serve drinks this poor. Not only were they watery, they were overly sweet for no reason yet without flavor. Maybe just an off day. However, the restaurant did not look clean and had a bit of an odor to it . Again, maybe just an off day.
The noodles are UNDISPUTABLY just as good as the other two locations but the ambience, hygiene and poor drinks ruins the experience. I think that if they pick up on these few points, there's no reason whatsoever to wait in line at the other location.
We had moonlight ho fun and mun yee mien which were both excellent as was the chili sauce. Ho fun was smooth as silk and sauce delicious and flavourful as you would expect from Tuck Kee. My recent favourite is mun yee mien with square profile al dente noodles was also perfectly prepared. Easy 5 stars...

Firstly, you will find the business operation of this shop and another Tuck Kee nearby quite questionable as they extend their seats far out occupying public carpark. I'm aware of this and expected not to interrupt their 'business' but still park nearby since the road is not preoccupied by any obstacle on the parking lot. Yet, what happened is that I start my car after strolling around for a while just to had an terrible shock that suddenly my car's back tyre flat and pocked by nail. One word: CAREFUL ❗‼️ Not to mention Tuck Kee series shop nearby also problematic as they does the same stuff: occupy their seats on the supposingly publicly available parking lot. Leaving this message as to raise concern among local authority on this worrying matter as a tourist who just underwent an unforgettably...
