I want to express my disappointment with the service and experience my husband and I encountered during our recent visit to this cafe. On the evening of July 3rd, 2023, we chose to celebrate my husband's birthday at Elephant Resort Cafe, hoping for a pleasant dining experience. However, the events of that evening left us deeply dissatisfied.
Despite it being a quiet weekday evening, my husband's food was significantly delayed, even though there were few other patrons present when we arrived. To add to the frustration, my meal was served before our drinks, and only after I had finished eating did my husband's food finally arrive. Throughout this ordeal, the staff provided little to no information about the delay, and despite our inquiries, we received no satisfactory explanation or apology for the inconvenience caused.
Furthermore, it was disheartening to observe that other customers who arrived after us received their orders ahead of us, compounding our disappointment with the service. The lack of communication and the overall poor handling of the situation left us feeling neglected and disrespected as customers.
In addition to the unsatisfactory service, the quality of the food did not meet our expectations. My order of strawberry milk was particularly disappointing, as it tasted similar to Dutch Lady Strawberry Milk, which was not what I had expected.
As a result of this disappointing experience, my husband and I have regrettably decided that we will not be returning to Elephant Resort Cafe in the future. It is disheartening to have had such a negative experience, especially on a special occasion such as my husband's birthday celebration.
I hope that this feedback can be taken constructively and used to improve the overall customer experience at your establishment. We sincerely hope that steps will be taken to address the issues we have raised, as it is in the best interest of both the customers and the reputation of Elephant Resort Cafe.

Read moreWent to this place for dinner with my friends a few nights ago and it was a horrible experience. It started off with poor customer service that lack communication and interaction. While dining, it was hard to catch their attention when we needed the service. Although, we noticed many of the waiters were just "chilling" by the drinks counter talking to each other and not paying attention.
Moreover, a plate of food was at least RM30 and above resulting to disappointment. We ordered pizza to share which cost RM32, came in 6 inch size with mediocre taste, nearly half of the pizza consists curst. My friend ordered the unagi and scrambled egg sandwich (RM34), it arrived with cold temperature and the egg wasn't scrambled, just normally fried. The bread wasn't toasted, just buttered and cold. Asked to reheat the dish which took nearly half an hour wait, we suspect that they have forgotten and had to remind them twice. I ordered the Soft Shell Crab pasta (RM36), it also lacked flavour and texture. I'd say the most decent dish was the Beef Burger (RM38), however, the portion was small, especially the fries.
Honestly, we didn't know what to expect in terms of portion of food as food pictures weren't provided and there was lack of communication with the staff. We ordered a watermelon fountain and found out there's leakage on the watermelon, so we asked the staffs if it is normal to have this issue, they replied no and took the watermelon away and come back with the same watermelon. End up the staffs just put some tissue paper underneath the watermelon to absorb the leakage. The table looks like a crime scene before we could even finish our food. The worst thing that we experienced was that it took forever for our foods to get served, and when we ask the staffs to check our orders, they insisted that they have served our foods which we have not receive at all. After the staff took some time to check with the kitchen, they still insisted they served the foods to us already. We got really frustrated and in the end, the store manager came to us and informed us that they have sent our orders to other tables, and she just leave the messages that the kitchen will prepare the food for us again. Then, it took another 20 minutes to get the foods served. We also requested some of the foods to be separated, but all requests were being ignored.
