Its the third time here. Sopoong will be our go-to place if we ever crave Korean food. Food: We got the beef bulgogi and kimchi gimbap. Portion is quite big. I think all of Sopoong's menu the portion is big. You can choose between small and large size. I'd suggest the small portion to be shared between 2-3 people. You cannot finish it on your own (unless you're really really hungry) The beef bulgogi is served hot, there's lots of beef and shiitake mushrooms. Beef are super tender and well-seasoned with lots of black pepper and thin glass noodles. Even the gimbap rolls are a lot. Especially when you get all the banchan with it. If you're feeling peckish but not too hungry, do try the sweet potato sticks. They're so good and there's cheese inside. Drinks: Ice lemon tea and korean ginger tea with candied ginger. Atmosphere: Okay. Not many people even on a weekend. The staffs took only 15 mins to serve our food and super polite. Not the first time here and definitely won't be the last. come again. No

We tried the Jajangmyeon set with a drink, 3 sides, and tteokbokki. Also, we had Japchae with 3 sides and finished with strawberry Bingsu for dessert. The aloe vera pieces from the drink were very small; hardly managed to bite any. The sides were Korean Macaroni Salad, kimchi, and spicy cucumber salad. The sides and Jajangmyeon were just okay, but Japchae was very delicious! Full of flavor in every bite. Bingsu was nice, lots of strawberries on and under the shaved ice. The waiter was attentive, preparing our Bingsu as we finished. Overall, a good experience, and we'll go back for more Japchae and Bingsu!

Can’t say the same for other’s experience but my experience WAS HORRIBLE! I used to come here a lot but this time will be one of my last. Try not to believe the reviews because theres literally a signage here that says you get 10% off total bill if you give 5 stars, so take that information as you please. I waited 45-50 minutes for my Japchae! I saw all the other customers who came later than us got their food first. Glad to see that the kimchi fried rice taste is still nice like before but the others: my friend’s ramen was straight up watery like it tasted like cereal water EVEN with cheese on it. The udon was a bit bland and overcooked. Multiple times I wanted to ask for help but the workers seem to be hiding behind the counter all the time. I asked the waitress about my food and she answer me so quickly to cut me off which was rude, and she didnt even give me my food 😭 even then i had to wait a bit longer. If the food was great, I wouldn’t have mind the 45-50 minutes wait but that food was dissatisfying, so I’m not pleased. Also, why was the egg gyeranjjim removed from the set? It was the best ☹️

Few times eating here, they always have slow service. I don’t understand why tbh. I had to wait for AT LEAST 25 minutes for my food. Tried to ignore it for first few times, but this time i just cant. I waited for my takeaway buldakmyeon chicken SET for almost half an hour. Only to find it incomplete. I received withOUT the kimchi & salad as the menu is shown. Thats not the only thing, their chicken was SPOILED, almost all their chicken got weird smell and i am sure it is not safe to eat anymore. I had food poisoning and got admitted in the hosp before this so this is traumatising for me, so i ended up throwing the chicken and just eat the ramyeon and fried egg 🫠 damn, paid RM21.90 only to eat ramyeon with fried egg? I better slap myself and do a self reflect to not coming back here. Worst soopong branch ever. Please do not come here.

Fast service and nice ambience. Staff friendly to cater for extras. Ordered the set meals combos. Good value though not cheap. Expect to spent RM30 per pax. Food is the normal, average korean fare. Nothing superb. Unlimited appetisers refills, 3 types, kimchi, pickles cucumbers, cold salad. Pancak was a bit bland. Fried noodlrs was yhe best amongst all. Rice rolls ok. Avoid the dumplings. Steamed egg was way over cooked, wrinkled and "hard". The soup pot (choic of chicken, beef or tuna fish) was commendable. Set came with 2 bowls of rice which is as white rice is surprisingly well cooked. Overall a good place for friends gathering.

I would say it’s just an average restaurant, not like the review showing THAT good. I think the only reason the review is so high is because they offer 10% discount from the total bill if you leave 5 starts review. Gimbap 1/5: the rice is too soft and the gimbal is too salty. I can’t even finish it Topokki 1/5: it’s not the Korean rice cake i usually eat. Actually I don’t think the topokki is made of whole rice, so the texture is weird. It’s one of the worse topokki I have. Jajangmyeon 4/5: I would say it’s pretty good. The noodle is chewy and the sauce is just right. Cheese Dakgalbi 4/5: it’s a average and ok dish just too salty.
