Service was bad, Food was subpar, Drinks are either very bland or very sweet.
When we(3) entered the restaurant, we entered at the same time as another family. We ordered at the same time as they did but our food only arrived after they had finished their food and left.
We ordered 2 drinks in total 1 lemonade and 1 iced lemon tea (both were RM6). The lemonade was very sweet with the taste you could tell obviously came from a concentrate. The iced lemon tea on the other hand.. first they didn't serve it to us by themselves, we had to ask them to bring it to us. Even then, we had to ask 2 times because the first time we asked they just ignored us and act like nothing happened. By the time it finally came, it tasted like 10% iced lemon tea and 90% water. You'd think that at least the portion sizes would be big but the drink sizes are laughable it makes McDonald's medium size drinks look like extra larges.
The food was OK. But that is the only good thing about it. The beef was so chewy it'd make you think you were eating gum. And as mentioned above it took forever to come. The gyoza on the other hand was the first item that arrived, even faster than the drinks. It was ok but that's also really it. It has nothing going for it and is just average. The sautéed vegetables were pretty alright as well but that's what you'd expect from a teppanyaki stove.
Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Not even the homeless, even they deserve...
Read moreService is shockingly bad. It’s amazing how all the wait staff congregate in the kitchen or at the back, leaving the main area unattended. There was one of them who was perpetually on the Phone.
I had asked one of the wait staff for a utensil, and she forgot about it. Even after FINALLY getting her attention again to remind her, I was met with a dismissive sign of the hand indicating I should wait. Which I did I might add, rather patiently. I watched her go about her business and as expected, she forgot entirely about me AGAIN.
The food took a good 30 -35 mins to arrive, as they went to the back to refill the raw meats and vegetables. When they did finally come out, the wait was still painfully long, as they mass fry meats for at least 10 plates. Sometimes waiting is acceptable or understandable- however- the restaurant was not even full!
When the dishes were ready, instead of serving it straight away to customers who had been waiting relatively long, it is left on the counter as again, no wait staff in sight or when finally seen, they were not attentive enough to serve the food. I tried to get their attention to serve the food but failed. The food was left on the counter for at least 7-8 mins before it was served.
Taste was okay for the price but service fell truly below the mark. Either they need to segregate their duties better or get / train better staff who actually...
Read moreI really wanted to like this place since we came here a few times, but unfortunately, it just didn’t live up to expectations.
We came around 2 - 3 and every time, they told us they were out of chawanmushi. We asked what they could offer as a replacement, but the staff just apologized without offering any real solution. That was frustrating to say the least.
Then, the food itself was way too salty and peppery. It felt like they just dumped seasoning on everything. The garlic flakes were all burnt and black, which was really off-putting. It actually made me lose my appetite just looking at it.
Lastly, the cuttlefish was rubbery, like chewing on a tire. Honestly, it was the worst I’ve ever had. After multiple disappointing experiences, I’m definitely not coming back. There are way better places to...
