Ayam penyet is below par, sambal is not spicy at all, chicken is not tender and lack of side dishes like tauhu (they have tempe though). Ordered cilor, but they gave me telur gulung instead. Staff insisted that it was cilor. Telur gulung is too oily - felt jelak (eneg). The restaurant has wide variety of choices at great prices, so it's still good but definitely there is a lot of room for improvement.
So I came again for the second time. Another disappointment. They slightly changed their menu. No more cilor on the menu, that's what I noticed. Ordered normal pempek set, supposed to come with 2 pempek adaan, 2 lenjer and 1 pempek kulit. Next table wanted to ordered the same thing, staff said not available. So we thought "lucky us, we got the last set". What came out is 3 adaan and 2 pempek kulit. Looks like they just everything from the last stock on the plate. It's perfectly fine to let us know if certain items are not available, we don't mind coming back if the food is good.

Read moreMy partner and I have been here a few times based on a recommendation from my Indonesian friend. This place serves unpretentious, authentic Indonesian food. Hard to find in PJ. The nasi goreng gila is served with a spiciness level that you can choose from 1 to 5 and it really hits the spot. The portion was monstrous, we ended up taking home half of it. We also had the nasi ayam geprek which was really good. We especially loved the sambal.
They’ve recently upgraded to an online menu ordering system which is very convenient but the names of dishes lacked pictures and it was hard to choose what to order when we didn’t know what the food looked like. Hope that they’ll add pictures of the food soon and also maybe add more menu items? We’re keen to try more authentic Indonesian food from here.
Last but not least, the martabak manis is one of our favs and we’ve ordered it via delivery a few times already. Try it,...
Read moreOne of the most authentic Indonesia resto in PJ. We come on saturday night at 7 PM. Only 2 tables were occupied. Service was decent, our order come out fast. Here's what we tried:
Nasi Goreng Dendeng Legit one of the best nasi goreng I tried in Malaysia. The rice used for the nasi goreng is a spot on, and the smokiness from the dendeng just add the experience of eating it more enjoyable. There are no level of spiciness, however it's already a little bit spicy due to chilli from the dendeng.
Indomie goreng daging I think they used additional/different seasoning than regular indomie. But it still taste good.
Ketoprak Authentic just like we used to eat at Indonesia
Martabak Manis Sedap. However it took sometime before this served to us, it's more than 1 hour since we ordered it.
All in all, a decent alternative if you miss...
