A good place to start your breakfast.

Whenever I miss Ipoh Kuey Teow soup then I’ll pay a visit here.

Before you enter the restaurant, you will get to smell their pastries. For sure you will get trapped there and have a look first.

They have a small “open kitchen” in front. You may observe the whole process of how they prepare the grilled bread and Char Siew Pau.

I love to see their Mexico bun. Quite dark and I can feel so good even I haven't tested it. After tasted their Mexico bun, my taste bud is like hitting to the heaven. 😆 Really delicious. My eyes normally won’t betray my gut. Lol~ what I look at confirm won’t wrong.

I’m not coffee lover. But when I entered the restaurant, I really can’t stop myself to order the coffee. OMG~ after drinking the coffee, I feel like why I hate coffee before. 😆 And of course I won’t get addicted is because I’ll having headache once I took caffeine. But at least I gave it a try and it didn’t make me disappointed.

At there, of course you MUST TRY their Ipoh Hor Fun soup. You won’t regret after you try it. And you will thanks to me for the recommendations. 🤭😜 Hope you enjoy the hor fun soup.

Their signature dry pork Mee also not bad. Just try it whenever you got time. Their staff also quite friendly. Don’t know is staff or tauke, as long as I received good service will do. Lol~

You may come here to purchase Ipoh food if let say you miss Ipoh snack. Overall, satisfy with their food...

2nd visit here within 2 weeks. The food here has decent portion sizes (just enough to ensure you're full by the end of your meal), are so affordable and, most importantly, taste great!! This old-kopitiam style cafe is well-decorated with a lot of beautiful antiques and is also well air-conditioned. They also sell pastries and a lot of snacks that I've loved as a child (i.e. Sakima, Rice crackers, etc.)

During this visit, we ordered: R02 Roasted Pork Nasi Lemak (RM12.80) N01 Ipoh Shredded Chicken Hor Fun (Small/RM8.00) P06 Curry Potato Bun (1pc/RM2.40) B11 Teh, Less sweet (Iced/RM4.00)

R02's sambal's sweetness was just right, mild with a little spice (but not so much that it burns your tongue and overwhelms the entire meal).

A generous portion of shredded chicken was given per serving of N01. I'm not particularly a fan of shredded chicken hor fun, but it was worth the try because the broth was so thick and delicious. (The broth for the noodles is boiled for up to 5 hours each day as stated in the menu)

As for P06 and B11, it was our 2nd time ordering those and they tasted amazing. P06 is a MUST-TRY if you do visit this cafe! B11 isn't the best I've had. Regardless, it's definitely one of the good ones and it's also very refreshing on a hot day!

If you're looking for a fully air-conditioned, reasonably-priced kopitiam around Kota Damansara, Yitcha Kaw Kaw Kopitiam's the...

Some food is overrated and overpriced for its quality.

Out of my 10 visits, I only got to have the pork bun once. Seeing how it’s always sold out, my expectation has skyrocketed. It was served warm. The dough is not as fluffy as I would expect and it’s quite dry. The filling taste good and they are quite generous with it. 6/10, don’t quite get the hype though.

Next, the siew yok wantan mee with a nice presentation. The springy noodles is blended well with the sweet and delectable dark sauces. Wantan (with shrimps) is excellent and the portion is great. Love the soup that comes with the wantan, it’s comforting, savoury and peppery.

Now, here comes the siew yok that ruins everything. The layering looks good but the belly part is hard. Mind you, it’s not chewy, it’s seriously rock hard and stiff. The top crust which is supposed to be crispy turns out super hard too, like it has been left unattended on the tables for a few days.

Fortunately, drinks taste wonderful. It’s quite kaw and aromatic, not overly sweet or milky. No wonder most tables are only having drinks.

Last but not least, a big shout out to their service. Most servers there are youngsters and they are very well trained with friendly and...
