Update (22 May, 2024): More than two years ago, I came here on a rainy afternoon. Been back numerous times since. Today, it's still my go-to place for hotpot. Sure, many similar places have sprung up over the years and some are really good. Some have tastier broth, more sauce choices and some even free ice-cream. But Zui Zui still has the best combination of taste, food quality, freshness, and choice. And its pricing is the most competitive. And for a drinker like me, they don't charge corkage so that's a big bonus. The staffs are hardworking, genuine, courteous and helpful. The proprietor/manager is a funny, jovial, warm, friendly, and accommodating chap.

Our favourite broth here is the pork broth + tomato soup. The pork broth could've been richer but that's not a deal-breaker. The tomato soup however, was great. Unlike some 'tomato soups' which are basically watered-down puree, the one here has very thick tomato flavour and generous bits of fresh tomato in it. The meat cuts, fish and vegetables were fresh and in fair portions. Come as a group or just a duo, and enjoy a slow evening with good food and a drink or two.

(24 October, 2021): Rainy afternoon, the type for hotpots. First time here, on recommendation. Food was fresh, broth was good. Not a big fan of mala if I'm honest, but this one was good and had a fragrance I've not tasted before. Will be back to try other broths. Whenever want to drink soup, the first restaurant that appeared in my mind will be Zui Zui Xiang!

OMG! Why? Why like this? This is because their soup is super super delicious. Many customers just came here purposely want to purchase their soups, unfortunately, they didn't sell them. This, you must come and give it a try.

We visited this restaurant until not enough fingers to count. The numbers can start to count the stars in the sky I think. 😆

My husband loves their Pork slices. Every time came sure will be ordered at least 5 plates of pork slices. One of the major reasons that always leads us to come here is because they got quality control on the meat slices and soups.

The second will be their century eggs dish. After you try, you will never come back to the previous. Why did I say so? No need for more explanation, after you try, you will be hari hari MAU! 😜🤣🤣🤣 At that time please don't blame me because of my review then you get addicted. Kita sama same Kena. 🤣🤣🤣

Last but not least, their sauces are super delicious. I always mixed it all in one big bowl. 😆 Can order their Chrysanthemum drinks in a jar. After finishing the drinks you still can refill with hot water. Ichiban!
