BBQ Chicken Bintang Megamall — Restaurant in Sarawak

Plenty of seatings, staffs were super friendly and helpful, service was quick. Was excited to finally try the korean fried chicken here but was left disappointed.

Heres what we ordered: GANG JEONG FRIED CHICKEN. The presentation looks great, glistening chicken coated in sauce. But the chicken was not crunchy (you would expect korean chicken to retain crunchiness even with sauce) and flavor was so bland (there was a hint of sweetness and spice but hardly anything). It was also not hot/warm, like its been left out to cool and not placed in a food warmer. The rice was also quite dry.

GOLDEN CHICKEN. Again, bland chicken. We needed chili sauce to actually eat it. But it was crunchy outside, soft and not dry inside (but not juicy either). Would have expected a more flavourful maybe even spiced/herbed chicken.

CHEESE STICKS. Decent but not great. Not served hot/warm so cheese was just solid.

Overall, glad I tried it once. Unfortunately, that will be my last until these improvements...

Yesterday, I was really looking forward to dining at BB.Q Chicken, but my experience was disappointing. It was evident that the restaurant was only ONE STAFF AT THAT TIME. I waited over 15 minutes or longer for the food to arrive. While the server tried her best, she seemed overwhelmed, tired and rushed. This not only affected the service but also the overall atmosphere, which felt chaotic and poorly managed. The food was good, but the delays and lack of attention ruined the experience. I suggest they increase their staff, especially during peak hours. Until then, I won't be returning if this problem...

Brought whole family for dinner at BBQ Chicken yesterday. Meal served fast, except the Korean Charboiled need to wait for 15 minutes due to the grilling time. I thought the chicken rice cup is just a small cup of food as side dish, yet the portion was actually enough to fill a person's stomach, and it costs only RM 13.90 including a glass of soft drink.

Ordered Golden Chicken, Korean Charboiled, Honey glazed burger, Hot-hot burger and Teriyaki chicken rice cup, all yummy and portion were big enough.
