Havent been back to this place for so many years and recently just went to try it. I AM ABSOLUTELY DUMBFOUNDED TO SEE THE PRICE AND THE PORTION OF THE FOOD.
Do not be fooled by the pictures posted in other reviews, they seems a lot but actually you are paying for the big portion of beansprouts at the bottom of the pot. Only a few slices of beef piled on the top. Prices are extortionate and not worth the portion of food. They only serve more noodles to fill you up so you feel full when you finished.
10 years ago this place was usually crowded, ppl fighting for tables and there were ppl waiting outside the shop for a taste of their food. Now the place is just sad and not much ppl going. This says a lot. This place is no longer local's favourite place.

The "special" comes with a bowl of tasty noodles with a sprinkle of minced fried beef. The mix of beef slices, inards, towgays and a sprinkle of corriander comes in a small quali of soup sitting on a small flame. Chilli and sauces are self-service. The chilli sauce for the beef is hot, similar to KK style. Sliced beef is tender and tasty. Car parking should not be a major set back. However the dish is a bit over-priced but it is a nice change from the normal. No pork is served and so we do see a good patronage from our...

Then we ordered an extra plate of noodles. They don’t serve pork here, so they put chicken breast instead. I think can skip the chicken breast and just go with plain noodle. The soup is tasty and beef is tender. One thing I like is that the soup stays hot for longer because there’s a little fire beneath the pot. They also have a corner where you can help yourself with tissues and sambal and chilies! The lady boss is very friendly too!...
