Uncle Pui Cafe — Restaurant in Borneo

This is not my first time but today, I had enough of this place. We in a family of 4, came to dine in without any one to serve. Not to be fussy, we just waited to be served. In about 20 mins, just realized to take our order. Hoping that we dont want to anticipate waiting for a long time, we ordered only 3 simple dish with the waiter clueless and angrily serving us. And the waiting game begin. Almost 2 hours of waiting, only drinks are served and the ice melted. The waiter can just tell us if the order going to take longer or whatsoever. Or the owner can tell us or other customers upfront.

Dont visit here if you are very hungry and expect to be serve accordingly. I have visited here several times but this time once is too many.

To the owner, please respect your paying customers, your regular customers. Dont let them experience the inconveniences. Do tell upfront. Dont just expect customer to wait. For those that can wait for your "fast" service, surely they will wait. But for customer want to eat with good or rational waiting time, this is not the place. Please go...

The food just so-so. You can repeat but please consider other factor. Cleanliness; okay, price: a lil bit pricey but still ok. services: I divided into 2 category: good staffs and bad staff. Good staffs had no problem entertaining our requests, and i think the owner’s family member (maybe) also gave us very warm services however. Bad staff in particular that earrings guy, i dont know what went wrong causing him to give us VERY TERRIBLE service, if only me experienced this i have no issue, but my whole family ;5 adult (excluded 5 childrens) also felt the bad aura by ur staff. is it because im local? even during i made payment, it is really hard for you to say it nicely? my whole family went back in bad mood just because of him. Just dont fired him, just wanted to let you know that he capable to turn down...

Had a very disappointing dinner on 8th August. We arrived at the restaurant at around 9 plus and there were only 1 family seated inside.

Despite the absence of crowd, the food was cooked without any enthusiasm and solely for the sake of serving an order. Portion of squid was really measly and the 3 rasa fish was just doused with some lightly flavoured oil.

The black pepper crab was below average too as the black pepper sauce tasted like ready made off the shelf ones.

Not worth paying RM270 as there was no life or eagerness while eating the food.

I usually don't post bad reviews unless it is very disappointing. Maybe we went on a bad time as I saw there were good...
