This is actually the second time I dine at oriental kopi (ok). The first time was at klia2. As expected the price is slightly cheaper here than at klia2. Both places were packed with patrons. At lunchtime you have to queue to get in. Wow! The food was actually good but not amazing. The portion was generous. I'm a big fan of Portuguese egg tart. Theirs was actually good and the size was satisfying. I would rank them slightly above one at Nando's and Mémorie cafe (at the new wing of ioi). I already had their signature nasi lemak. This I would rank less than Village park's nasi lemak. Especially the fried chicken. But it was still good though. Today I tried their Hainan chicken rice. It was decent though. I appreciate the waiter effort to inform me that they only had wing and drumstick left. (As for drumsticks the price is about RM2 more) I took the drumstick. But I was completely surprised as it was actually the whole leg with thigh and all. Excellent! My wife had the char kuetiau. It was ok. I like the one at paparich better :). All in all, it is a good establishment and you get your money well worth it. Definitely will come again (not at lunch time he he) Oh before that, I also had the toast with double butter. OMG! If you a butter freak like me you'll be please. This don't skimp on their butter! Look at the photo....

I recently visited Oriental Kopi and had a pretty good experience overall. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, with a nice blend of modern and traditional decor that made me feel comfortable right away. I ordered their signature kopi and oriental egg tart (original and chocolate) , 2 plates of toast (kaya and coconut), polo bun, cendol, signature Nasi Lemak and curry noodle. The coffee was rich and aromatic, though I felt it could have been a touch stronger for my personal taste. The star dish is their kaya toast and egg tart, perfect—crispy on the outside, soft and creamy in the inside . The polo bun, as good as it is, could have been much better if they refer to the polo bun recipe used in Hong Kong. The cendol is decent but could be better if real santan is used. Their Signature Nasi Lemak and curry noodle is decent.

Service was friendly, though a bit slow during peak hours, which is understandable. The prices were reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Overall, it is a great spot to relax and enjoy some traditional flavors with a modern twist. I’d definitely recommend it, but with the caveat to visit during off-peak hours if you want a more relaxed experience....

I usually don’t like waiting in queues, but today was different. I am glad I trusted my fiancee to try out this restaurant. The food IS great. The customer service is amazing and the staffs displayed professionally; there were no cross-over-conversations infront of customers….there were no back-talking to customers after they leave their tables…and especially their Systematical Operations amongst all the staffs on how they manage customer-flow….welcome/greet customers, leading them to their tables, taking their orders, cleaning up their tables and communicating of which customer is done and which table is empty or which table needed attention, etc— hats off to the management, for building such an astounding TEAM. Keep up the great work and hopefully the management can spread this Operations Technique to other outlets and encourage a unique standard in F&B line. The only regret I had was being so greedy and over excited for ordering more than I can handle and wasted such good food. Everything else...
