Sharing my experiences which i go on weekday lunch hour. For walk in you got queue to get the number if you want to eat on that day, on weekday you got to start queue at 1pm or earlier because they are gonna give out the number at 2pm(thats no fixed number of ticket they are gonna allocate so is really depending on them how much of they will allocate). This queuing is to get dinner ticket number which start at 4pm, i queue around 1.30pm & the number i get is 163(morning time they already allocated 80 number so i still got 82 to go to catch the dinner meal) You can scan the ticket QR code to check the number running then you know what time to go back again to have the meal. During 5pm i checked the running number via their QR ticket but i found out that the number was no running so decided to go there to have a look, suprisingly the runing number is at 159(mean still got 3 number to reach mine) I asked the staff why the scan QR number in the system is no runing & they tell me the their system got problem(this part which i cannot accept imagine if i miss the number then sure have to wait again) if not mistaken sure alot people in front of my number missed the call thats why i can get the call around 6pm. Meanwhile the medicure & pedicure is totally fully book for that day. While waiting at their lounge, you can have the complimentary snack meal, inside restaurant can totally saw their service is extremely good. They provide apron, plastic bag to protect hp, hair tied for female customer. By using pad to order the foods and serving speed is fast, overall the food is fresh and taste is delicious.

When we try to get queue no online but was already finish, so we go to the shop itself to try our luck and luckily there is one available table for us. While we were waiting outside they provide snacks and popcorns, and there is some card/chess game for us to play, they do provide drinks too when we were waiting. They do have some activities when we were waiting such as folding paper crane for discounts. There is an area for kids to play. When we were inside our server was very friendly, they provide us with lens wipe, apron and Ziplock bag for smartphone, to prevent soup getting on your clothes or phone. The hygiene of the restaurant is very clean too. Now for the food, the ingredients was very fresh and the soup taste great especially the tomato soup which is my favorite, they have fruits, snacks, and desserts (pudding is great too) as well which you can have as many as you want. There is quite a lot of sauce to choose from when you can mix on your own preference (sauce per pax is RM 8, if didn't take sauce will not charge RM8). They use iPad for you to order ingredients which is convenient and can easily see all the prices, and the ingredient is served within short time as well. The server told us how to to cook for each type of meat, and they even helped us to put the Tau Poks and shrimp paste into the soup. There is no washroom within the restaurant so have to go to nearby washroom in the mall. Price wise is reasonable given all the free service and foods they serve you. Overall it is a great and unique experience.

First time trying Haidilou and was amazed by the hospitality that was given to me by the HDL staff. From the moment I say down waiting for my turn to dine in, was immediately greeted by a friendly staff offering choices of drinks and snacks and ice cream. The dining experience was on par with the excellent customer service at the front entrance. There was a designated person in our area that attended to our every need. From menu suggestion to helping us take sauces for different food item and constantly checking up on us if all our ordered item have arrive, beverage refills and cleaning the table of tissues and empty plates. The choices of sauce is also really impressive as there were so many ingredients and constantly being restocked to ensure everything was ready for the customer to just self serve. Price is towards the pricey side as the soup alone will cost you around Rm35-60 so I suggest coming in a group of 4 . Sauces per person is RM 8 and drink buffet is RM 5 per person. The total for our meal was RM230 for 2 people 2 types of soup Sauces Full portion pork belly Half portion signature Tofu Half portion Beef tripe Half portion beancurd Half portion beancurd strips Half portion pig aorta Drink buffet 10 percent service charge 6 percent sst The ordering menu on the iPad had a choice to change between Chinese and English on the top right tab. Overall very satisfied . Will definitely be back again but not all the time.

The latest craze (May 2019) is HDL that is famed for their impeccable service. There is a system for their queue numbers, you will have to queue at 1.30pm for dinner numbers. (yes) if you want to eat dinner at 730 onwards this is what you have to do. The waiting area is at the front, it has all the snacks including popcorn and ice cream. The manicure service is by reservation as well. A host will inform you when your table is ready. Caution it takes 2 hours (despite having a queue ticket) for a table. The ordering is done on an iPad that is bilingual. My suggestion is order the 4 grid so that you can sample 4 types of broth. Each broth will cost you RM8 onward except hot water. You can order hot water and use the condiments bar (RM8) to create your own broth. The rest is pretty much standard hotpot fare. The noodle dance is all show really and it tastes like pan mee. This is quite a costly hotpot place and the experience is what makes it unique. My suggestion is to go on weekdays and avoid weekends at all cost. Stay longer for the experience of being served (they even peel the prawns for you). Dine in once and then let the hype carry over. Or you can walk in at 12.30am but then again hotpot for supper is a little too heavy even for me. NOTE: This is a predominantly mandarin speaking restaurant. You can get by just pointing (universal language) or just bring more friends who can speak mandarin.

Haidilao impressed us with their exceptional service and attention to detail. From the moment we arrived, they took care of every aspect of our dining experience. As I was wearing a white outfit, they promptly provided me with an apron to protect my clothes. Additionally, they noticed my long hair and thoughtfully brought me a hair tie. They immediately brought kid's cutlery and toys, which kept our little ones entertained throughout the meal. It's these small gestures that made the dining experience truly enjoyable for the whole family. The service was consistently excellent throughout the meal. The staff promptly refilled our water and soup, ensuring that we never had to wait or ask for anything. The food itself was served quickly, without compromising on quality. The ingredients were fresh, and we particularly enjoyed the tomato soup base. Haidilao went the extra mile to make the kid's birthday special. They provided us with a delightful performance, singing the birthday song and presenting a free cake. The staff members were cheerful and even held up a birthday board for us to take memorable photos. It was a lovely touch that made the occasion truly memorable. The kids were absolutely thrilled with the experience. They not only enjoyed the delicious food but also had a great time with the toys, snacks, and ice creams provided by Haidilao.

Walked in 9:40pm, waited only 20 mins. Food served at waiting lounge - plain porridge with corn bits, jelly kind of drinks, pop corn, ice cream, titbits. Mostly junk food. Should serve healthier option. Board game available to kill time. Heard manicure is available at HDL overseas, but not at Msia. Steamboat soup base were not bad but take note some soup contain artificial ingredients which I personally don't prefer. Green veggie variety is lacking. Overall food was quite fresh. Dessert and drinks are way too sweet. Charging RM 8 per person for condiment is a rip off... Service wise - we think a lot of actions were kind of unnatural and unnecessary. For eg. Waitress offered to help us break the green leafy veg into half before we put them in steamboat. (oh well, either your kitchen cut them shorter or customers can break them by themselves). Probably some ppl feel good to be treated superior but I don't come here to be treated like a queen. It is just unnecessary...I think good service is to foresee and attend to customer whenever necessary, rather than follow purely on protocol. Noodles performance is entertaining but again it's a one time thingy. No biggie. Overall it was a pleasant dinner but HDL is mainly just a hype. Price is definitely on the high side, similar to most of their competitors.
