please train your staff well, the food tastes quite good, but the front staff lady has a bad manners, I have eaten at your place 3 times, but this time I met the front staff lady with an angry face, when I ordered she looked like she was angry, maybe because of me ordering at the late hour, I had to ask her twice whether the menu was still ready because she didn't respond when I asked, she was just busy staring at the screen, finally I asked again and she just nodded without turning around while staring at the screen with an angry face.
When the take away food was ready, I asked where my food was, without answering a single word she immediately wrapped the food, then handed it to me without saying anything and without looking at me as her customer, then she immediately turned around still with an angry face even I have thanks her, she don't reply me any word.
how bad her attitude, the take away food even without chopstick and spoon, I have asked her to give me 1 chopstick before when I was ordered food, but because her face not looking welcome I lazy to ask again.
I am sorry to be honest, but this is a bad exprience when I came to your place when I visit Malaysia, I came from overseas and disappointed. I am not recomended Ding Tai Fung Malaysia to my relative in my country.. Hopefully your other customer can...
Read moreJust visited DTF about 2 weeks ago, when the MCO restriction was eased. It was ages since I visited any DTF branch, perhaps the last time was many years ago in Singapore. So, it was really wonderful to come back and revisit.
Had to wait for awhile as there was a relatively long queue, though I must say that with the SOPs were in place, they were very fast to clean up once their patrons left. Also, I managed to choose all the items and place an order even before I got a table. In way, I felt that I utilized my time well while waiting in line :) I did my quick research on what to order since it's been ages.
I ordered the Xiao Long Bao, the Shrimp fried rice and a few other dishes. Honestly, I can't remember the other dishes although they were pretty decent. But what stood out were the Xiao Long Bao and the Shrimp Fired Rice. Both are definitely worth the wait and money.
Prices are slightly higher than usual Chinese restaurants, but I guess it is DTF, so both the price-point and the quality are both something that wouldn't come as a shock to many. I would certainly return to try more of their dishes. I would love to come in a bigger group to try out more of their dishes to share amongst the group. Definitely a lovely place with quality food and servers are pretty decent too. Thumbs up,...

We dined here on April 4, 2025, and while the service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and efficient—the food experience was uneven.
The fried rice was satisfying: well-cooked grains, fluffy egg, and a good portion of shrimp. It had a nice texture, though it didn’t quite stand out. The accompanying pork chop was tender, but unfortunately, it lacked flavor. The thin-cut meat seemed to have been either over-marinated or aged too long, which stripped it of its natural richness. It felt dull on the palate—texturally fine, but flavor-wise, underwhelming.
The xiao long bao (XLB) were passable. The dumpling skins were delicate and nicely folded, but the meat inside lacked the savory depth (maybe overly minced?) that make XLB special.
The soup was ordinary—nothing to complain about, but nothing memorable either.
The chicken dish, generously topped with crushed peanuts and chili oil, was another letdown. The chicken was dry and the flavors lacked impact. It didn’t carry the boldness of peppercorn or the numbing spice expected in a dish like this.
In short, while the hospitality impressed, the food didn’t quite measure up. A comfortable place for a meal, but not one I’d go out of my...
