Rasai Machan - Good Food, Great Vibes, Right on Campus! — Restaurant in Subang Jaya

Travelled to this restaurant (30 min from KL on a grab taxi) to find out that it was closed despite the open status on the internet. The staff needs to keep the opening timings updated online accurately or remove it from the internet totally to prevent diners getting mislead. Looking at the recent reviews, looks like Rasai Machan is going down hill!! I saw the restaurant premises which was inoperative and looked rundown compared with the other thriving outlets around the same area. I do not recommend this place to anyone based on their unreliability and the recent poor reviews. Deciding to go there was a terrible mistake and a waste of money on Grab taxied all the way from the Centre of KL to find a closed down...

Curries are really good and have the authentic Sri Lankan flavour . It is my go to place to order whenever i miss Sri Lankan food and i am happy that they have the brown rice option because i want to eat healthier, but I really do not like the type of brown rice that they use , the quality of the brown rice is quite bad , I wish they used a different type of brown/red rice which is softer and not as rough as the type they are using now. Hope they can change the type of brown/red rice so that there is a healthy but still tasty...

Not sure if I would call this place “world class” but the food & beverage here is most certainly affordable and tasty as well. You won’t find many Indian food that is both good and reasonably priced as well. From my personal favourite “Masala Tea”, to their “Nasi Lemak Bungkus” & also their “Nasi Kandar”. It makes me wish if only I can be a Sunway student forever haha
