The Chinese woman that works evenings is obnoxiously rude to me every time I have been there but this time it was the worst! I ordered a small cone and she didn't even give me a second to see the flavours and wanted to know immediately with an annoyed look and tone in her voice. I asked for 2 flavours quickly of which they didn't have so I changed it to simple chocolate and vanilla. All the time she was annoyed at me for being there and this has happened multiple times otherwise I wouldn't leave such a review. She truly hates her job and you can definitely see it from her service. She proceeds to put a bit of chocolate in the middle and lots of "vanilla" ice-cream at the ends. I wasn't paying attention whilst she was scooping as I would have stopped her. She should have at least done half and half. Everything is forced with her. I take the cone and not even buy a macaroon in the flavour ice-cream that they didn't have, as I was planning to do. As soon as I left I tasted the ice-cream and it tastes weird with flakes. I kept tasting it and realized that it definitely wasn't vanilla but coconut or something like that! How rude!!! I wanted to go and smash the ice-cream in her face but calmed down and threw it away in the bin and went home. Why is she always so rude to me ???? It's always her when I go in the mornings or at different times other servers are nice and never act this way. In the end they gave me a cup with 5 super-sized ice cream scoop for the price of 12,20 euro. Told them again that I want 3 scoop not 5. I got 3 dumb faces looking at me. I showed them by fingers: one, two and three. Really embarrassing to see this kind of life form trying to explain me the policy and the system of a simple ice cream shop. Lol. I asked explanations how come that the price still the same and one of them atempt to start a long dissertation about the policy and system of their company. Along with my ice cream, I ordered five macarons. One of them—the chocolate macaron—was one I had asked about but clearly stated I did not want. Despite this, I realized at the till that I had been charged for it. When I pointed out the mistake and said I didn’t want it, the staff member dismissed me by stating there was a “no refund policy.”
He insisted he had heard me say I wanted it and that there was nothing he could do. He also mentioned that they serve 1,000 people a day—as if that justified the situation. I was honestly shocked. It was upsetting to be treated this way by a brand I’ve always loved and supported.
Staff at this location need serious review and training in customer relations. The fact that it was close to closing time or that they had served a large number of people that day is not the customer’s responsibility—and certainly not an excuse for poor service or inflexibility in the face of a clear...
