Kantina Café - Wine — Restaurant in Valletta

Food was nice, service was good from one server, but it was a weird vibe. Firstly, asked for a pink gin with sprite, the server went to see if it could be done and then came back and said they wouldnt do it because it wouldn't taste nice... but they had a cocktail on the menu that was pink gin, sprite and strawberry puree so that didn't really make sense. Orders did take a while to come out, this seemed to be a server issue as you could hear the kitchen angryily ringing the bell, before starting to loudly bang on pots to get their attention. They were fairly busy, but most people had been there for longer than us so it shouldn't have been that mad. One guy, don't know if he was in charge or was just acting like he was, did a lot of telling off of the other servers, moaning about them to other customers etc. He was a quite abrupt when taking our order. Also we'd been finished for ages, he was standing nearby, asked if every with the meal was okay, we said it was, they he just walked away. Normally thats what you ask when you're about to clear the pots, but he just wandered off to tell someone elae what to do. Took ages to get the bill and then ages to pay after that. Good attention from all employees except the manager. the employees made the mistake of taking away my table and drink while I was going to the bathroom TWICE and repeatedly apologized (all ok) but the manager instead of feeling ashamed and showing me a good attitude AFTER TWO SAME MISTAKES, he let me walk away in a huff (even when I mentioned that I was not happy with the situation). For me that attitude overshadows everything else (and I'm sorry for all the other employees who were all nice to me EXCEPT THE MANAGER). Very bad experience because mistakes are allowed to pass but bad attitudes, especially from a manager, are not. Twice they left me without a table and without a drink for going to the bathroom, even though the second time I told the waiter that I was going to the bathroom and I wasn't going to leave.
