We are from New Zealand but have traveled extensively so are very aware of good restaurants. This is possibly the best we have ever been to and we are now over 60 years old so can say we have dined at many fine places. We were fortunate that we were allowed to dine at 6pm without booking so had a table in the park adjacent to this trattoria. The amazing food and the generous owner and the soft light of the setting sun made the entire experience exceptional. The food is incredible, portions are generous ( I am a big eater but I struggled to finish the linguine scoglio). My husband had the fish which was accompanied by potatoes and green salad. My fish soup was delicious. The amazing bruschetta with delicious black olives served instead of the usual bread was fabulous and a lovely way to start the meal. This is so wonderful that we had intended to return but after the next day’s long trip in Gozo, we were sadly too tired. I wish the kind owner every good luck and much success.
