The Ordnance Pub & Restaurant — Restaurant in Valletta

This small pub was tucked away just outside the main tourist area by the city gates in Valletta. Caught my eye as it was a sort of 1950s building with mock Tudor beams tacked on – unusual.

Popped in here on a Sunday lunchtime for a bit of food – really nice lasagne. Hearty portion with bread on the side. The beer was, of course, Cisk.

Outdoor areas under cover are nice in the warmer weather – small indoors as well for more traditional eating and drinking. Quiet, but I imagine it gets packed out...

Very quiet and peaceful environment. Near the entrance of famous republic street on the first left from the main city entrance of Parliament House Building. Spacious have inside and outside sitting arrangements. Offering various hard and soft drinks 🍻🍹 🍸 🍷, kalamari fish 🐠 fries, 🍟 mushrooms 🍄, chips, salmon salads, beef steaks 🥩, famous Italian pastas 🍝. What a spot and what service 👏

We ate here a couple times and all seven off us loved our meals. Leon who served us made some great recommendations and his service was second to none.

This will be the first on my list when we return to Malta.
