Decided to give Da Vinci's a try after all these years coming to Cabo.
Located in the heart of the Marina right beside the main Boat Ramp. We've been walking past Da Vinci's for years. Guess it was time.
Kind of a small little place , but can definitely hold a gathering if need be, or by planning ahead and reserving of course. If you want a seat right away I would suggest you arrive a little early, as people tend to eat a little later in Cabo. We arrived at around 5:00 o'clock and it was very quiet. By the time we left 6:30-6:45 it was getting very full.
My brother and I both had the Spaghetti Carbonara, and our mom had the Lasagna. Portions were fairly decent ( especially for being in the Marina ) but the flavor lacked just a little bit for us. Not saying it was bad, just missed a little bit of something.
All in all we enjoyed our experience at Da Vinci's and would definitely try it again for sure.
Service was very good and on point, and the Restaurant is very clean ( including...

The one thing that was really bothersome was that the staff either allowed or were given a tip by the buskers to allow them to play their songs in the patio area. Although I enjoyed their musical rendition, I didn't ask them to perform. They stood there when finished and then asked, no almost demanded a tip. It was a very awkward experience.
We finally relented and gave them a tip to move them along. They moved onto the Sushi restaurant next door, which didn't allow them to "perform" on their patio. Next time we will have to stand up and walk away, to dissuade them.
To end our evening, we didn't have a bunch of smaller bills and asked that the wait staff return 100 Pesos from our bill payment. It appeared that they were stalling in the hopes that we would give up and leave. Eventually, the head server asked the reason why I was waiting. This is when our requested...
Read more3.7 stars...it's very subjective to give a star rating so I will give some background. We go out for dinner quite often and enjoy many different cuisines and ambience. My expectation when going out is to be pleasantly served. We don't need over the top service, but at least make sure I'm enjoying my meal.
Unfortunately Da Vinci's didn't measure up. Food was just okay, they never came back to ask how things were or to refill our drinks. No one was rude, but if I go to a sit down dinner I expect better quality service. This is right on the marina, hence it's more or less a tourist trap.
I do not recommend this for good...
