Iāve been coming to WTF Burger Bar since the days of its previous ownership, I loved that they offered burgers wrapped in lettuce.
Now under new ownership, Iāve had quite a few delightful surprises. The team is just as accommodating and friendly as ever. I couldnāt resist myself and had to indulge in my guiltiest of all pleasures: an old-fashioned strawberry milkshake; hit the spot. No regrets.
But the real highlight was my most recent visit. First of all, Rebeca (who recommended the Wagyu burger with Swiss cheese wrapped in lettuce) is truly exceptional. Sheās warm, attentive, and carries herself with a sincerity and professionalism that make the entire dining experience feel cared for.
That burger, made just right, paired with a simple side salad, was absolutely to die for. An even bigger plus was that it was a calorie-conscious meal without sacrificing flavor or satisfaction. It literally was hands-down the best burger Iāve had. Ever.
This place just keeps getting better. Everything is consistently fresh and delicious....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf you have never tried it, you must try wagyu beef. It is a highly marbled high fat beef originally from Japan. There are no words to describe how delicious it is. In the United States a 2 oz piece can cost you $100 or in that range if you can find it. The fat in it is not the typical saturated fat it is actually the fat that has omegas and eating that is equivalent to eating a serving of salmon. If you're watching your money you can taste it by having their sliders which cost about $15 for three small sliders. It's the best way to taste it if you're on a budget. I had the burger and loaded with mustard and ketchup and it was delicious but we decided that the condiments really overpowered the taste of the beef so we went back for sliders two more times. We absolutely love them and recommend them to everybody. Of course if you can afford the steak I would probably go for that guessing that is probably the best, most tender piece of steak you...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was here last week, and if I remember correctly the server was John. I have been traveling for about 3 weeks at the time and just wanted a good burger. What attracted me to the WTF burger was they proclaimed they used Wagyu beef from Australia for the burger patties. The burgers are NOT wagyu as they proclaim they are frozen and store bought. I notified the server of this and instead of apologizing he just said, āwell I havenāt had any complaints before and we are in Cabo so we make do with what we have gotā I found the server rude, impatient and arrogant. When it came time to paying he actually asked for a ātipā. Well mate, the tip from me is to improve your customer service and make better burgers. Your charging US prices for absolute rubbish food. I gave 2 stars for the location...
