[ ] Today was my first time visiting this nail salon in Cabo. I’m planning a girls trip and was looking for a great nail salon because some of the ladies like to refresh their nails at the end of the trip. Found this place in the mall and at first glance I thought it was perfect. Wood details, looks clean, and giving a luxury spa decor. I decided to give them a chance a do a pedicure.

[ ] First red flag-They did not have a price list and it took the owner about 5 minutes to make up a price. [ ] I was shocked when she said $30 for a pedicure without gel polish. I’ve been living in Mexico for 6 months and in Cabo for about a month and never paid that much for a pedicure but I started to take the location and decor into consideration, thinking the service would matched the vibe. I was completely wrong wrong wrong.

[ ] 2nd red flag-First the lady doing my nails made a poor attempt of filing and shaping my nails, she kept looking over at the other worker and giggling. [ ] I noticed she did not remove the clear polish I had on my toes. I mentioned this to her and she still didn’t remove it. The water for the foot bath was ice cold and she just sprinkle a little product in the water. She held the cuticle cutter very awkward and I realized when I got home and took a shower my foot was on fire. I suspect she cut my cuticles too deep. [ ] I live in NYC and pay 30 and up for a pedicure but the nail polish is good, I get a foot massage, lotion on lower leg and foot, a proper foot scrub,and cuticle oil. At the very least moisturize the client foot. After I left I applied some oil I had in my bag. While the nail tech was painting my toes another worker had to step in and finish the job. I will never introduce this place to my friends or any of my clients just based on the dishonesty of the pricing. I noticed another review this year paid $350 ($17 usd) pesos for a pedicure and it seem she had the works done and...

I finally thought I found my hair stylist. After going to many other hair salons in cabo. I finally thought I found my salon. I was very impressed at my first appointment, the price, the service, and how fast she was done, and my hair was fabulous. My second appointment which was approximately 3 months later was a disaster. I was on time but Jenny was busy with others so by the time i sat down in her chair For highlights it was 30 minutes later, I asked for partial Highlights and Jenny said she remembered me, and knew what to do, as i had been here before and was happy with her services the first time, She did the same service this time but took 3 hours as she was attending to others as they were walking in for hair cuts. I didn't feel like she gave me much attention this time. She left me in the chair for a very long time. I realize it takes time to process hair color, but it seemed a bit to long and i was getting worried about my hair, because she wasn't checking on me , she seemed more concerned about other customers that day. Needless to say thank goodness my hair was ok. When i was finally done and went to pay I was shocked that the price was double what I had paid for my last visit ... I asked why and she said prices change all the time, i can see an extra $20US or something close but Double the price and i am a permanent resident here. I don't think I will be returning here...

I do NOT recommend getting a manicure at this salon. I went for removal of my previous nail extensions and a gel manicure on my natural nails. Two different techs worked on me and neither were good. The tech who did the removal was impatient and insisted on drilling and filing immediately instead of letting them soak for long enough to soften first. It burned at times and I had to pull my hand away and she barely apologized. She also ended up injuring the skin on my pinky- you can see the cuts in the picture, along with the uneven filing, and lumpy/bubbled gel polish. The pictures are one taken one hour after I left. I gave 2 stars only because I guess the employees were nice- but the skill, precision and attention to detail were simply not there. Try literally anywhere else before coming...
