Mariscos Cabo Seafood (El Medano) — Restaurant in Baja California Sur

Like others have said, this is a must stop. This is now my second visit here.. my husband and I had dinner here last night he's golfing today, so I'm having lunch here today. Picture show last night's dinner for each of us plus my shrimp tacos today. Service is excellent, and the extra safe bring to you for your tacos is the best I've ever had. I'm a little picky, so I only had the minimal as you can see in the photo. The guacamole is great. I was going to have the fish tacos the plate comes with three so I switched to shrimp instead and I didn't really want three tacos so I ended up with à la carte two tacos instead of the plate with all the sides. It was perfect like lunch for me. The restaurant was pretty empty so I was the only one here I would maybe suggest sitting a little inside the restaurant it's all open air but not on the street two roads because it gets a bit noisy. At least around lunchtime when everybody's out and about. Last night I had the shrimp anyway you want it cooked, and it came with medium trip which I had thrilled. Our party of 4 visited Mariscos on 18Oct24. We were worried because the place was empty except for one other table. But the food was absolutely outstanding. The service was excellent because the place was practically deserted. We ordered a combination of various tacos and tostadas. The Red Tide tostada had a mixture of shrimp and octopus topped with avocado marinated in a wonderfully tangy sauce with citrus and a nice spicy kick. The Zoe tostada was served warm and featured marlin along with other seafood. The two were more than I could eat, so one should be sufficient for most people. Great experience for our family while visiting Cabo. After sunset, we wanted a meal away from the crazy marina but close by with fresh seafood. This location is very friendly with a love sax player on a Saturday night.

The food is fresh and they will even show the catch of the day to confirm weight and cooking preference. I recommend shrimp ceviche (1st timers) along with the lobster tail. Loved the family style options for 2 people. Worked great for our family of 4 and plenty of space.
