We did not eat here, although we tried. We picked up a flyer from the restaurant (not somewhere else, but actually from inside their restaurant, so there is no excuse for it not being current), and it showed some interesting stuff, but no prices. So I downloaded the menu from the QR code on the flyer. Prices looked decent, so we decided to go on Sunday for the Birria and Menudo and 2x1 Margaritas + free tequila shot specifically advertised on the front of the flyer for Saturday & Sunday.
The flyer also shows on the front that they have a Breakfast Buffet, but when we arrived at 1100, they said no service until 1300. We figured that was just special hours for Sunday, but it is not shown anywhere at the restaurant or on the menu. We went away and came back three hours later.
They were attentive when we arrived, but since there was no one else there, I guess we can't give too many points for that! First bad news - no Birria or Menudo - maybe sometime in the winter - just order from the menu and take whatever you can find. They didn't have 2x1 Margaritas either, or the free shot of tequila, but they did agree to honor that.
Second bad news, prices from the menu we were given were way higher than the one I downloaded (although the two menus otherwise looked the same). Just one simple example: the online menu shows beers are 39 pesos each, but in the restaurant they showed 85 pesos. Several other things that we were interested in struck me as way higher than I remembered too, but I did not bother actually comparing the prices. At this point we were just disgusted with them and left.
Maybe their food is wonderful, but I have no idea.
UPDATE: I thank you for your quick response below to my review; we will consider your kind offer of a meal gratis to get better information for another update of my rating. I do not think your prices are the lowest in the area - far from it. They may not be terribly high, but they are higher than three other excellent places we have tried on the same street. I won't comment further on that.
I suggest to you two things: First, get rid of those terribly outdated flyers you are handing out - that is what caused all the problems. Secondly, the menu I downloaded from the QR code must be SUPER old, since the prices on it are so much lower than even your May 2022 menu. You should make sure that old version is...

One of the highlights of our visit was the enchanting live music provided by the beautiful flute players. Their melodic tunes filled the air and added a touch of elegance to the atmosphere. It was a truly mesmerizing and unforgettable experience.
The salsa at La Ricazon is, without a doubt, a game-changer. Bursting with flavor and spice. The shrimp tacos were an absolute treat.
What truly sets La Ricazon apart is the overall dining experience. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction throughout the evening. Their friendly and warm demeanor made us feel right at home, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to our meal.

Read moreWe went by this restaurant on our way to the beach and a guy named Andy came out and tried to get us to come in for dinner. "First Margarita Free" he kept saying. We told him we wanted to take a kilo of carnitas back to our villa in two hours and could he do this for us. "No problem" was his reply. We went inside to pay in advance so they could go out and get some of the things they needed to prepare the carnitas. We gave him $40.00 and made it clear we wanted a kilo. This is the going price at another great restaurant we know of called Las Michocanas but that restaurant was further into town and we didn't have a car. Anyways, two hours later we came back from the beach but this time in a taxi. We stopped to pick up the carnitas and headed to our villa. When we got home and opened the bag, there couldn't have been more than 1/3 of a kilo of carnitas in the container. We had to scramble up some eggs just to have enough for dinner. Bottom line, this may be a great restaurant for dinner but beware if you order anything to go. I came away thinking they totally...
