Anyone coming from San Diego to dine here, I highly recommend you stay away from this place. I’m sorry I can’t give them zero stars. Here’s why:

• I made a reservation January 16th for Valentine’s Day for 6 @ 8pm. They are having a prix fixe dinner.

• On February 10th (Monday), they called me to ask if I could go pay the entire dinner off. I said I would try to be there the very next day (February 11th).

• I was not able to go on February 11th, and I CALLED them to let them know I would be there February 12th.

• I show up February 12th and they tell me they can’t give me 8pm anymore. They didn’t honor my reservation! They offer me 5pm or 10pm. No other offer or concession. When I said no, they told me they could give me an 8pm table but I would have to share it with others..

I asked them to cancel my reservation and I walked out.

In a region like San Diego/Tijuana, where dining options are boundless, this type of horrible customer service overshadows anything the restaurant does in the kitchen. I’m not going to beg to eat at your restaurant. If enough of us are treated this way, people will stop going to the restaurant, I don’t understand why management doesn’t realize this. It’s absurd.

I highly warn anyone thinking of coming down to Mexico to stay away from this place. The last thing you want is to show up after crossing the border and be treated this way.

There are countless other restaurants in the Tijuana area that will treat you well and with respect. Go there instead. ...

Ok this is a different place for breakfast but the owner needs to remember that it needs to be a full experience, valet parking was welcoming and courteous however the host was not ready to attend and even when three people were there in front of me none offer me to pass until several minutes later, then the host took me to my table and the waiter came in more like a sales person than an actual welcoming people i ordered coffee and morning bread which was a recent made croissant good but came apart if you try to split it, then i order breakfast and even the option are somewhat clear i had a hard time visualizing the option, I decided for huevos cremosos and the dish was ok different but nothing outstanding and presentation was lacking big time the food was tasty but the waiter etiquette is horrible and beyond very rude for a place of this nature so overall experience was forgettable and just another place of the bunch go and try it...

Drinks were great, I liked how they had a balanced level of sweetness making them very refreshing. Tried the watermelon mocktail which kind of reminded me of a watermelon jolly rancher, (but not overly sweet).

Appetizers were definitely one of the highlights for me but the entrees held their weight as well. The octopus appetizer was more on the acidic side with a nice texture from the crunchy chicharrons. The other appetizer (forgot the name) was an umami bomb. The pork dish had a nice crust and cooked through, but remained tender. The sauce it came with along with the veggies made it a well-rounded dish. The macaroni and cheese with shrimp had a light sauce which kind of reminded me of cheese mixed with some butternut squash. The filling was cheesy as well and contained some shrimp.

Service was very attentive and friendly.

Definitely...

Located in a busy area of town, but near the US/Mexico border; this Oasis of a restaurant surprises you from the moment you drive up. No need to worry about where to park your car of if it will get stolen as there is valet service that is also waiting to assist you in coming out of your car. The restaurant decor is lovely. It is clean and the staff is very professional. The plating is beautiful and the menu has a variety of eclectic dishes that mimic a worldly presentation and taste. I ordered the Jewish ranchero eggs but the ingredients and flavors are more Middle Eastern..My friend ordered the Eggs Benedict and they had crispy kale as garnish on top. I would definitely return and recommend this place to friends and family when they travel to Tijuana😉
