Menudería Guadalajara Río — Restaurant in Baja California

I went here twice. The first time it was around 11am and it was very crowded. I always saw a waiting line outside so decided to try them. The service was great, the waiters we're super nice and attentive, the music and the environment in general was also amazing; I would have given the 5 stars, HOWEVER! I took my family there a week later, because I thought it was great, and that time it was like 4pm and the service was horrible. Worst experience I have ever had in my life. The waiters were arguing with each other, they were talking very rudely to each other, someone broke a Cristal cup, etc.... The waiter asked for our drinks once but we told her we were going to wait until food was ready and she never asked again. Not a single time did they check on our table.... And it was the ONLY table at the time!!!! My family was so disappointed on my choice of place I will never go back there again. If you are considering going, make sure it is full of people, otherwise they won't even bother with you. On a side note, flavors were ok. Carne en su jugo has too much beans but the flavor is almost as the one I tasted on Jalisco but not quite there; and the menudo I was served was very hard to bite into, but again,...

I went to have dinner with my girlfriend. Our jobs do not let us spend alot of time together. We asked if they were closing soon. Which the reply was one hour...so we sat .. We were specific about the order....she ordered soups and some mexican dish... I ordered a steak....and sone rolled tacos ....no cheese...she ordered a coke...myself a flavored water...cucumber i believe... First my drink was horchata. Which i replied. Its ok . since i normally order 2. Our food came out and there was cheese on it..i again said its ok i can take it home ...but i would like another for here....our main course arrived and it looked very good. So i waited for like a minute...but you guessed it. No knife.....so i ripped my steak with my fingers....then to top it off the other waiter stars mopping with a huge scent of bleach that made my gf start sneezing....we did not enjoy our time there..i would not recommend going at night...the morning is a whole...

I had a very pleasant experience at Menuderia Guadalajara. I was really craving menudo, and this place delivered exactly what I was hoping for! The broth was flavorful, and I loved that they ask you exactly how you’d like it—if you’re not a fan of certain parts, like cow stomach, you can request to leave it out. That kind of customization is rare and appreciated!

The tortillas are fresh and handmade, and they offer all the classic toppings—fresh vegetables and herbs—to enhance your soup just the way you like it. It’s also a great spot if you’re in a hurry. I got in quickly, didn’t have to wait to be seated, and the service was friendly and efficient.

They have more than just menudo on the menu, so there’s something for everyone. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a satisfying, authentic...
