San Lucero Restaurant & Wine Bar — Restaurant in Ildefonso Green

We had a great time at San Lucero. The food is picture perfect. We couldn't wait to share another great tasting burger!

Today we had the best beef burger with bacon, melted cheese, mushrooms and grilled onions on a nice bun. It tasted delicious, maybe one of best burgers. All their food has great presentation. The price is right and the same with the place!

The food and presentation is wonderful. We enjoy the 2-4pm special three course lunch. The breakfast and lunch items look good. The service today was lacking. We didn't have our usual wait staff help us.

They outdid themselves this time. The staff was very good. They were their for us and asked how we were doing and such. The food was very good and their special lunch three course meal was available between 2-4pm. It was very nice indeed. The food comes out hot. We had a great time!

The owner and chef are great! The staff today went beyond. The food looks and taste wonderful. It's hard to be so good on cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner. The chef does it!

The deluxe double beef burger with all th fixings was one of the best we have had. Even with sharing half each, it still was too much food. The atmosphere was nice and so was the view. We could even see our condo on the hill from here. We played four hours of seven deck Canasta with their breakfast or lunch items. Great food at a wonderful price, too!

We enjoyed our meal there. Plenty of food with three shrimp filled tacos medium heat was just perfect to share. We reserved a table for playing cards. Nicely done place with music videos going on. The San Lucero Restaurant & Wine Bar has been a great find for a few reasons. The restaurant has Michelin star chef Alex Gonzalez at the helm ensuring great attentive service from the wait staff and consistent gastronomic delights prepared by Alex and his kitchen staff that are not only more than satisfying, but a great value in portion sizes for your dollar as compared to what you will spend in other restaurants in Cabo. The restaurant is in a location outside of town in convenient, close proximity to Pedregal and Sunset Beach resorts making it nice not to have to go all the way downtown as well as the added benefit of convenient parking spaces in front of the restaurant as well as a parking lot directly behind the restaurant where parking is quite the challenge at most restaurants in San Lucas. The restaurant also boasts an on site bakery that will satisfy your sweet tooth and also take bakery / cake orders that can be prepared for you and available the following day for events / parties that you are planning. Alex took the time to stop by our table to check on our dining satisfaction as well as share some of his exciting dining offerings moving forward for which we will definitely be going back to enjoy. This is kind of a bad experience for me. The restaurant seemed extra full on a Sunday and with several extra full party tables. The poor waiters seem so cramped and anxious running around everywhere in the restaurant, I unluckily had a really bad end of the service this morning. Since I arrived I had ordered an orange juice with no ice and eggs benedict, which by exactly 40 minutes only the eggs benedict arrived but with no orange juice, at this point I had already told the poor waiter 3 times about my juice. Unfortunately for me the eggs benedict were terrible, instead of a nice creamy benedict sauce I got a foamy sauce on top a very spongy sandwich bread… -2/10 really bad combo. And yet still not sight of my orange juice. After I told the waiter I’d like to send my eggs back, reminded him of my orange juice and asked for a menu. 5 minutes later I got my orange juice 🎉 Only that it had ice in it (which i specifically asked no ice) and it was a mineral water orange juice… At the end, I left with no breakfast and my orange juice after 1 hour.
