Went to Cabo with the family for a much needed and well-deserved vacation. One of the things we definitely wanted to do was take a boat ride out to the "Arch" and "Lovers/Divorce" beach -- we had heard so much about them.

After going through many reviews and getting pressured from other companies in Cabo (everyone has a deal "just for you"), I decided to go with Cabo Sailing. I liked the presentation of what they had to offer. (The fact that they were offering a discount didn't hurt either!) I'm so glad we did!

Booking the trip was quick and super easy. I got an email after paying, telling us where to meet the crew. They met us on time and were very friendly. It was my family of 3 and a couple on their honeymoon, so it made for a more intimate trip.

Our captain was Mario, and his first mate was Joel. They were both awesome! We got brief instructions on what to and not to do, and we were off. We had a wonderful 2-hour sunset cruise where we were taken to the arch, along with the other rock formations and the beaches. Joel kept the drinks and snacks coming with a great sense of humor as we toured the area. Joel also shared his vast knowledge on the area providing the history along with some intersting stories. Coming back, the sunset was beautiful, and Joel took pictures of us with the sun setting behind -- using our camera! No extra/up charge for photos!

Can not recommend Cabo Sailing enough. Trust me, picking a cruise provider can be really overwhelming in Cabo. Save yourself some time and frustration and roll with Cabo Sailing!!

Note - The cruise we took did not offer time to get off at the beach and explore, but I am willing to bet Cabo Sailing offers it -- just ask! We will be doing it next...

A group of 8 of us come to Cabo every couple of years. This year we decided to book a private sailing yacht. Several of us are sailors and we verified that there would definitely be sailing. It was an incredible day with the perfect steady wind. We were all exceptionally excited.

The beginning of the trip was great, they started off with getting all of us a cocktail and we set out to find the whales. We saw so many whales, it was incredible. The drinks kept coming.

We did have to request lunch, it wasn’t brought out until we asked. Ok, no big deal. It was ok, nothing special. But we were not there for the lunch.

After lunch we asked to sail. We were headed directly into the wind, the perfect time to put up the jib. I said to the captain that I know what to do and would help raise the jib. I don’t know what happened at that point, maybe there was a miscommunication. The captain got angry instantly and told me not to touch his sails. Before I could say I was just offering to help, the captain said that we would not be sailing. And indeed, there was no sailing. He proceeded to captain the boat in circles until the allotted time was over. There was no snorkeling or paddle boarding either.

There were also issues with the heads on the boat. One ended up being out of order. This was not ideal for a group of 8 people for 4 hours.

Overall, other than the whales, the trip was not worth the cost and the captain, named Gary was unfriendly, angry and vindictive. This was our experience. If you should choose a private yacht experience, you may want to consider requesting g a captain other than Gary (that was the name in...

Wow! Just wow! I will definitely book with this company again! The customer service via email was so fast and friendly with any questions I had. They even apologized once for the “late response”, it was only 4 hours! The whole day on the sailboat was amazing. The onboard staff, Adrian, Felipe and Ricardo went above and beyond! We felt like royalty, our drinks were always full and anything we needed they were right there. Taking group pictures for us, bringing us snorkeling, and making us lunch. Ricardo was especially helpful and knowledgeable when I had a million questions about Cabo, sailing, and what we should do outside of sailing to have an awesome weekend while in town. We definitely never felt like just another tour. He really made us feel special, welcomed and safe. They even brought out a beautiful birthday cake for me at the end and sang happy birthday. I must have mentioned it in the first email that it was my birthday. I was not expecting a cake! I asked Ricardo to help me set up another sail for a couple days later, which he was happy to set it up for us. We ended up having to cancel it because a few of the girls changed their flight at the last minute. And the customer service again, was so friendly and understanding and allowed us to cancel with no penalties! Seriously...book with them! You will not be disappointed! I wish companies in the US had the same customer service and staff as Cabo Sailing....

After booking, I received great communication from Fernando. We were able to adjust our booking a few times and he called to warn us that it can be difficult to make the early sailing if you have to take a tender from your cruise ship. We had no issues getting a tender off our boat and making it around to the marina quickly. We were also the only cruise ship in port that morning so ymmv. We could have saved some money with the open group sailing but overall private was worth it and not that much more expensive. On ship, Eddy and David were great! Very knowledgeable, professional and fun. Kudos to the marina team as well. We arrived a bit early and were able to depart ahead of schedule. The 42' boat was comfortable with space to spread out for our group of 8. Snorkeling was fun but all tours go to a designated area so it was a bit crowded. They supplied gear, towels, and had heated water to rinse off with. The food (chips and salsa, pineapple, sandwiches, and cookies) was decent, but we saved room to eat on land. They kept the drinks flowing and had a variety of options. The best part was cruising around the peninsula and checking out the sights. We saw some whales and sea lions along the way!

My husband and I took a private sailing tour on a 38ft boat around El Arco with Eliel and Ricardo as our ship mates. This was a fabulous experience. We were scheduled to sail for 3 hours, but apparently I don't do well on a choppy ocean and we needed to go back after 2 hours. But, Eliel and Ricardo made the experience absolutely wonderful! They provided the music that we wanted to hear. They offered beverages and food. They offered snorkeling. They took tons of photos of us for us. And they were very informative about the area and were able to tell us interesting facts about what we were seeing. We toured around El Arco to the other side, hung out for a bit, tried to spot some whales and had an incredible time. We had the entire boat to ourselves, it was fabulous. I highly recommend taking this tour. Eliel and Ricardo were great!!
