THIS FOOD IS AMAZING!!! For those not familiar with this kind of food this is called "Cenaduria", which is a type of food not always served at typical Mexican restaurants. Most food is deep fried like Flautas, sopes, tostadas, enchiladas etc. Then they also serve Pozole, tacos dorados etc. One characteristic of this type of restaurants is that the food is usually really economical since most of the items are topped with beans, mashed potato, "requeson", etc, which are very economical. Some items also contain meet like beef, pork or chicken, but still the food is very affordable. Just to give you an example, my family of 3 had a full size dinner for under $500 pesos, whereas the night before we spent almost $1,200 pesos at a tyipical seafood restaurant I know seafood is expensive anywhere, but still. Anyway, the service was also very good, the 2 ladies working the place were super nice, and very friendly and accommodating. When you are in Cabo and you want to spend as little as possible in food this is the place to eat. They also have plenty of parking inside. All in all this was one of the best value places in Cabo. Read moreCasa Leon was a great find—it felt cozy and welcoming. The food was great too; everything tasted like it had been made at home, not mass-produced (if that makes sense). Our group tried everything on the menu, and we’d eat it all again.
Try the aguas frescas, especially the lemon-mint flavor. And don’t skip dessert—the jericalla is awesome. Prices are fair, so you get amazing food without breaking the bank.
The place is also tourist-friendly. They have a menu in English with descriptions, so you know exactly what you’re getting. With any luck, you’ll stop by when Diego is on duty—he’s friendly, bilingual, and makes you feel right at home.

Read moreThe food is absolutely worth it. I had a tostada with Pollo and a small pozole, I ordered another pozole because soooo good! My wife had a tostada and pozole as well and she ordered another tostada, my son had a sope and ordered a pozole for himself. My daughter is very picky but prepared an off the menu plate just for her. Ruby (the owner I think) tended to us and was fantastic!! Definitely gave us a family vibe as we spoke for about 30 minutes about life. If you're looking for a great meal please stop by here!! I only regret not finding this place sooner to enjoy more of her food. Needless to say the pozole is...
