Went to this place the other night. Unfortunately it was not Wednesday. Lasagna day is Wednesday and that's what I was there to try. I heard it was fantastic. Ended up getting rice cheese balls and pesto pasta. Both were very good. We had just a small wait time period the prices are very good. The only knock that I have on this place is that there are too many street vendors that they allow inside the restaurant. We didn't think we would have to deal with that as we decided not to sit out on the sidewalk, but they let them come in the restaurant. We must have had 8 or 9 people interrupt our meal. Also it is very loud with the street vendors that perform in front. There was at least 6. The only one that was not loud and annoying was a violin player that was fantastic. We will probably not go back as it was too loud of environment and we were constantly...
Read moreGood food at a fair price in a great atmosphere, overlooking the Lazaro Cardenas Park (Parque Lázaro Cárdenas). But most important the staff was honest! I accidentally gave my waiter a one-hundred-euro bill in place of a one hundred peso bill because I was tired from an international flight. Roger caught me at the door just outside the restaurant and told me of the mistake I had made. He handed me back the money, and I gave him the correct change as he explained to me that his morals wouldn't allow him to keep that money and make that mistake. In my opinion, this makes this one of the best restaurants to frequent as I know I'm going to be treated well and my business is appreciated by the owners...
Read moreSo yes if you stay long enough in Mexico you may start to crave more familiar food...🤣. Puerta Vallarta has a very diverse variety of cuisine. We usually stop by A Taste of Italy when it’s not to busy. It is a popular place so have a back up plan or avoid the peak dining hours if you don’t want to wait. Great food at good prices. My son loves the pizza, my aunt and uncle always get bruschetta and I am very found of the Chicken Parmesan. My aunt loves the chaser salad. I love that a lot of places serve ice cold glass bottle sodas. I suppose some are weary of fountain drinks and ice but the water in PV has never made me ill & it is rated very highly as potable water goes. I digress...if you’re looking for casual Italian dining with great flavour while in PV...
