Lix Homemade Ice Cream — Restaurant in Jalisco

We always go here for ice cream when in Vallarta. On Thursday we sent the kids ahead with pesos while the adults finished up dinner. When we arrived my sister went in to get a cone and the woman inside said one of the kids didn't pay for his cone. My sister said no problem and paid for her cone and my sons (who the woman pointed out).my sister asked "todo bien?" and the employee said yes. We sad down and everyone finished their ice cream. As we walked away the employee called out to my son and said he didn't pay. My son calls back to me and i go into the shop. Employee says that we didn't pay for my son(same kid she pointed out to my sister). I told her that my sister did pay and she says my sister didn't(!!!??????). I watched what happened with my sister and i could believe what this lady was saying! My husband advised just to pay. I'm wondering how many other tourist this lady/ employee does this to. Later that night i asked my sons what happened and they said they paid. If so that would make it 3x that we paid for...

I used to love coming here, but lately the prices have gotten a little too greedy, and it’s disappointing. A choco banana used to be affordable not long ago, but now it’s 110 for a simple banana with a thin chocolate coating, feels like too much. They’ve even started charging 10 pesos just for small ice cream samples, which doesn’t sit well with me. Their portions are small and expensive. I’m not sure I want to support a business that’s taking these kinds of steps. Seems like a lot of people in the reviews are having the same vibe of this place. If I could give a -10 for customer service I would. My husband just went to buy a 3 berry yogurt ice cream and was served a berry-lavender ice cream. He brought it up and I told him that this is not the correct one I asked for. I am allergic to lavender so, I know what it is. He went back to tell the girl she messed up and to serve the correct one since we have been going there 4 times in a row She just flat out told him no after she admitted that she made a mistake.
