After visiting maybe 10 different coffee bars, I can say that I like Buna the most. Just because the coffee is so delicious

What I loved was the huge selection of locally sourced Mexican coffee beans from a few different regions around Mexico City.

The staff proudly explained where the coffee came from. They offered to prepare some cappuccino's with different beans for each person of our group, so that we could taste the taste-difference ourselves. It was the first time this was offered in Mexico. That was a very pleasant experience.

You can also have dinner or brunch in the adjacent Buna restaurant, where Buna coffee is served. Basically, the left side of the building is the coffee bar, the right side is the restaurant.

At Buna you can also buy coffee by the bag.

The bags feature modern designs based on the Nahuatl names given...

As a passionate coffee enthusiast, I made it a point to explore many cafés while in CDMX, always ordering my go-to drink a flat white, which I find to be the perfect benchmark for comparing coffee quality across shops. Buna came highly recommended by local baristas, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. It quickly became my favorite coffee spot in the city. The space is small and cozy, with only outdoor seating, which adds to its charm. Their flat white was perfectly dialed in smooth, balanced, and expertly crafted. And the almond croissant? Quite honestly, the best pastry I’ve ever had flaky, rich, and unforgettable.

I highly recommend Buna to anyone who appreciates quality coffee and well-executed simplicity. It’s a standout in a city full of...

Sour mocha served in a paper cup, even though I was sitting at an outside table. (There was no one else on the patio on a Sunday morning, so it isn’t like they needed the table.) When I told the barista that the drink was sour, she claimed it was bitter from the dark chocolate. There’s a distinct difference between sour and bitter: 100% this was sour. The espresso had likely gone off – especially as other reviewers mention it normally being high-quality. Atmosphere was nice with outdoor seating in a lovely, leafy part of Roma Norte, but there’s no shortage of great coffeeshops in the area – for my peso, I’ll try...

Came here for breakfast...I was 1 of 3 customer's in restaurant. I thought I was ordering something completely different to what I got (my fault) and I didn't much like what I got as flavours didn't work for me so I won't base stars given on food. Service wasn't great considering there were more staff than customers....no staff members wanted to look up so you could ask for there help. My coffee was dropped onto table without sugar and it took me 2-3 mins to get anyone's attention....not what you expect with these prices.
