Cool spot with great wines, nice music, and friendly waiters.

Unfortunately, the food was not as good as the rest - the patatas bravas were undercooked and the sauce was not great either.

Further, many dishes include dairy, which I am intolerant to. They were unable or unwilling to prepare the dishes I asked about, such as the mussels, without dairy, which hasn’t been a problem at other restaurants.

Then, I asked about getting a portion of french fries, which they offer for the mussel dish, and they said they would charge me the full price of the mussels, even if I only got the french fries; not a good look...

My husband and I went to SI Mon bar to taste some Mexican wines. It was a great experience. The bar is located in the hip Roma neighborhood of Mexico city. Omar, our waiter was very amicable and spoke to us in English, explaining the wine regions in Mexico and the grape varietals. We tried 6 different varities from rose to red. You can buy a vaso or a glass. I went with vaso size (125ml) that way I could try more wines.Great service, amazing wines. We left with 3 bottles. This is a great place to discover Mexican wines. If you’re like my wife and me and know almost nothing about the different wines produced in Mexico, I recommend going here. They have a fantastic tasting (2 whites, 1 rosé, 2 reds) in addition to other really good options by the glass. The food options are decent. We had a cheese and charcuterie board that was excellent.
