My family and I had the pleasure of dining at Testal during our recent trip to Mexico City, and it quickly became our go-to restaurant near our hotel, Hotel Marlowe. This charming establishment impressed us so much that we returned multiple times during our stay.

A delicious near the Alameda.

Thanks to my boyfriend I had the opportunity to know "El Restaurante Tesla". Although I have visited the Historic Center of Mexico City several times, I did not know the restaurant.

The restaurant is tastefully decorated in an elegant style, perhaps a bit dark. What I like the most is that you don't hear the bustle of the streets.

The staff are always friendly and attentive at all times, they never made us any rude. At the time of order, they clarified our doubts about the dishes and gave us suggestions.

The menu changes according to the season, we went for the September season. The dishes exceeded our expectations, I drink very rich and with the correct portions. The dessert was exceptional, with citrus dessert with a lemon mirror, delicious.

Finally, in reference to the prices they are a bit high compared to the typical franchise restaurants (Vips, Toks, etc.), but the value for money is correct.

Food was good, service wasn’t good. We ordered abhlondagos (two large stuffed meatballs, which was delicious) and Milanese Chicken Breast. It look forever to get our food and when the waitress brought it out it was NOT the chicken I ordered. The chicken she brought wasn’t breaded and it was covered with some kind of sauce. I told her it wasn’t what I ordered and she insisted it was. It definitely WAS NOT what I ordered. I even pointed it out to her and said “Milanese chicken, breaded chicken breast” when I ordered. Finally she agreed to bring me the Milanese chicken. Unfortunately, I had to wait another 20 or so minutes to get it (I do understand they had to cook it) It was a frustrating dinner experience. My dining partner was finished with his meal way before I was able to eat my meal. Oh, the chicken was okay, not great. A good meal for a child or someone who likes plain food. All it came with was French fries (which I...
