Aldo's Gelato — Restaurant in Playa del Carmen

Hello Aldo’s, I’m not writing to criticize you but to help. Your ice creams are very good and I am a long time customer. But your employees must understand the importance of customer service.They never smile. Does not welcome customers in an attractive manner. They receive you as if you are disturbing them. They are arrogant and unpleasant. It's really a shame. We are in Playa and they meet a lot of foreign people and with quality standards. They should follow appropriate training regularly. Customer service is the key to success. There, unfortunately, their unpleasant attitude does not allow me to enjoy my ice cream. When I come to Starbucks, the welcoming is always great whichever location i go, and the staff is always smiling and friendly. I hope you will consider my remarks and act...

My favorite ice cream place in Playa. And the most friendly (to my opinion) among all Aldos on Fifth. Here I’ve got the most rich toppings to my cones and waffles, so... that’s my top choice. As for the flavors- I think it’s optimal. You can find enough milky+fruits options, few different chocolate types and interesting options like dulche de leche, salt caramel, pistachio and baileys. Vegan ice creams also present here. All flavors that I tasted were rich and intense. No watery taste or icy texture as in other places. Can wholeheartedly recommend Aldos to all icecream...

BUBBLE WAFFLE CONES!! OH MY! We went to over priced Hagen Daaz the first day, mediocre service for way overpriced ice cream. Aldo's is delicious and good size servings. Our grandkids ordered one of the bubble waffle specials and wow! They wanted them for breakfast and dessert every day. They make the waffles when you order, so they are always fresh.
