I've been here a few times and its pretty good in the past but not this time.

The tuna was obviously frozen at one time, had horrible color, definitely not fresh by any stretch. The other pieces like roe were okay. The rolls were made poorly rolled, sloppy work. The only good dish was the scallops, we all liked them.

The kicker was we told them that one of us has a severe shellfish allergy, we were VERY clear about it.

Then they served us one of our rolls with crabmeat. We of course sent it back.

They made us a new one but as it turned out it was cross contaminated with shellfish an my girlfriend, who could die from this sort of thing starting having an attack. I rushed her home to get her meds, she's okay.

Too bad because I like the location, service...

Overall we didn’t like this place.

Our waiter was very unfriendly, even though she did not want to work. She answered our questions reluctantly, and after taking the order, we had the urge to cancel it and leave. But we decided to stay, which we regretted.

The sushi and rolls looked very nice. But in my opinion, there was too much rice and not enough fish, especially on the rolls. The slices on the outside felt very thin, and it felt like eating rice alone.

Drinks were VERY watery. We didn’t feel any liquor. There was a feeling that we drank just lemonade.

Bottom line: 2/5. Unfortunately, this place did not live up to our...

Honestly i was not impressed by anything here. It was a bit hot inside and it was nighttime. The sushi was disappointing, me and my wife didnt finish our three rolls. The prices also were not very good. Ive had significantly better sushi in el paso texas. The only decent roll we had cost 128 pesos. Also i got the impression tourists arent really liked or appreciated. Unless the service is iffy for everyone. Also double check your bill for a tax called ISA. They said it was included in the prices in the menu but they tried adding it on our bill at the end. Dont...

Alright so Mexico’s sushi isn’t the same as what Japan could obviously offer, nor the same as Asian and Western-like countries do, but this honestly was pretty good! The spicy tuna rolls were actually really good but looked funny as You can see. Rice quality was good - not that loose dry stuff. The poke bowl was great - the quality of the tuna and Salmon was also on point. The Chicken Katsu was fine - not the greatest. To make this place better, I would offer more options for sauces for the poke bowl and less cream cheese options in the rolls.
