Cocomama tiki Room — Restaurant in San Miguel de Cozumel

Must say the atmosphere is pretty awesome. Tiki vibes was in Cozumel with my daughter. Stopped here to try it out. The drinks were amazing 10/10. Ordered the blue cheese burger and my daughter ordered Angus beef burger. The only downfall is I did ask that the burger be cooked medium well and although the first bite was amazing the flavors were there. I have to say when I looked inside my burger to take the second bite I realized the meat was completely raw. I guess to some people that's okay but for me it kind of turned me away. I had asked for med well but got rare .I asked her to completely cook it again so they sent it back and it can't still came back a little wrong so wasn't able to finish it but I was full off the appetizer in the drinks. A little mishap but overall I could see where the food is. Amazing. Presentation was beautiful but if you ask for a burger please remember just tell them well. Well done cuz you will get cold uncooked...

This place has been one of the best parts of our trip to Cozumel. My husband and I came here so he could get a Cuban cigar. The staff was so fun and so welcoming that we came back a second night. Now, I’m sitting here in the daytime, waiting for the ferry and enjoying the food and delicious cocktails in air-conditioning! It’s some of the best food we’ve had in Cozumel. They were also kind enough to store our luggage for us while we ate and help us arrange for cheaper car service, both in Cozumel and Playa del Carmen. I was really impressed with the quality and value here considering it's right in the middle of the tourist strip. MXN$260 for pescado frito entero is basically the same as what you would pay at Mero Mero or the Mercado Municipal. And the sauteed mushrooms with dried chiles it came with was one of the best and most interesting flavors I had in Cozumel. It looks like a tourist trap but it's really good!
