It's tough to find a good Sushi place in Mexico outside of Mexico City (because they have traditional Japanese restaurants) - so when you find a place with good cuts of fish, order as you like and the taste is spot on, why look anywhere else.
If you order a traditional Maki, be aware that the rolls are still large, and filling. The curry was pretty good and the Udon does not use traditional noodles, but close enough (the broth is refreshing at least).
So while you are on the island, I'd recommend this place, as the prices are cheap in comparison for good sushi (ingredients).

Read moreIt would not be fair to compare the sushi here with a restaurant in New York. However, we thought to give the restaurant a chance after running some errands in the area. We went for dinner and had the Sushi combo; it was just okay. Not tasty, not bad. The quality of the rice and the amount of sushi were a bit more on the “needs to improve”. If you are very picky with your sushi, I suggest you looking for a...
Read moreIt seems this place serves sushi, but it seems they have no idea how those should look like. It’s the worst sushi I have ever had. EVER. Just look at photos and you will understand everything. Amount of wasabi and ginger… it feels like they were kidding)))) There’s almost nothing inside of the roll, but rise. And thinnest slices of salmon that this world has ever seen)) just for your pleasure! This experience is that surreal, so that I even share the review here, because nobody would believe that such a poor, a shameful travesty on sushi has been...
