I am the kind of customer who would rather pay a bit extra and have a great experience. Here I spent $820 and walked out feeling terribleā¦
I was the only customer in the whole restaurant. I walked in to try the All You Can Eat.
Fair and square, the restaurant requires you to finish everything you order or else pay a la carte for what you donāt eat.
Two of the special rolls I chose to order were really bland, mostly rice, and I really couldnāt eat them. I told the server they can just bill me for them.
As a customer I felt bad for ordering and wasting the rolls but hey⦠at least I was taking responsibility for the cost and trying to move forward! I decided for the All You Can Eat, I should stick to ordering I individual sushi pieces that I KNEW I would like.
The sushi chef gave me a really bad attitude about sending the two rolls back. He seemed really offended that I didnāt like them. He stated that they would charge me a la carte for every item I ordered from now on. No interest in customer feedback about the food⦠simply making me wrong for not liking it. I completely lost my appetite and did not want to be there anymore.
The TV was blaring and I was, sitting face to face with a sushi chef who was throwing mad shade at me, the only customer in the whole restaurant.
So I paid the bill of $820 (for the all your can eat $420 price, a bottled water, and the two rolls I sent back) and left. But thatās me, Iād rather bite the bullet and get the heck out of a subpar experience.
All in all a restaurant excursion Iād rather forget as soon...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSushi that is mind-blowing due to it's incredible attention to detail. Every plate is prepared with the freshest ingredients, and hand crafted to order with care by Brian (the sushi chef). An absolute feast for the eye and for the tongue. Not only are the items on the menu inventive, each piece, each roll is prepared like a work of art - balancing colors, flavors and textures to create a simultaneously aesthetic and gastronomic masterpiece.
The service here is first rate, as well. The rest of the team, Lee and Adrian are incredibly welcoming from the time you step into the establishment. Adrian is a great conversationalist. Lee is friendly and makes an amazing Dalgona w. fresh matcha. Wouldn't be surprised if it becomes the next internet sensation for it's that tasty!
My favorite creations: Dragon Ball, Screaming O, Surf and Turf, Shrimp Boats, Baked Salmon Roll... (Am I just naming the whole menu now? I'll stop.)
TLDR: If you have one meal on the island, make it here. If you have 3 meals left, make it here all three times (like I did).
Also, do yourself a favor and opt for the AYCE option. Though you'll most likely fall into a huge food coma later, your stomach will ultimately love you for it....

Two days ago we went with my friends to AYCE as we usually do cause we are regular customers but this time the waitress treated us super rude. I totally understand that AYCE has their own rules and thatās fine but as we were a table of seven we were trying to find a solution to some of us get AYCE at the table and the rest order from the menu. Short story⦠she wasnāt on the mood or sheās just a really rude waitress, she even called me āaggressiveā and according to her I was raising my voice when clearly I wasnāt doing that in fact she was the rude!
She CANT treat the customers like that, even if there are rules to follow, she could have been way more understandable and polite cause thatās her job, otherwise she really needs a customer service course because at any point we were rude to her.
We really missed the previous waitress, she was so nice and Iām pretty sure she would have find a solution.
At the end 7 people ended up leaving to place to go somewhere else and I highly doubt that we are coming back,...
