I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sorrisi, an Italian restaurant in Cozumel, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! As an Italian cuisine enthusiast, I can confidently say that Sorrisi offers the best Italian dishes on the island.
Having been a loyal customer for over 4 years now, I can attest to the consistency and excellence of their menu. The extensive selection of dishes caters to every palate, from classic favorites to unique and innovative creations.
What sets Sorrisi apart is not just their exceptional food, but also their exceptional service. The staff is incredibly friendly, hospitable, and knowledgeable. They are always ready to provide recommendations and ensure that every dining experience is personalized and memorable.
Now, let's talk about the mushroom truffle soup. Words cannot do justice to how incredible this soup is. It is a true masterpiece of flavors and textures. The earthy aroma of truffles combined with the rich and creamy mushroom broth creates a symphony of taste that is simply unparalleled. It's safe to say that this soup is the best I've ever had.
If you're looking for a dining experience that combines the finest Italian cuisine with impeccable service, Sorrisi is the place to be. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

We started with the Caesar salad, presentation was beautiful and it was delicious. Followed by the lobster bisque, which again was beautifully presented and included 1/2 a lobster tail in it. This was also quite yummy and very unique.
We were craving pizza on this night, so we had the one with ham, olives, artichoke heart, cheese and mushrooms.... the names are Italian, so I cant' say i recall the name.
For desert we tried the cheesecake and tiramisu. Both were stunning to look at. I haven't eaten much tiramisu, so I don't have a comparision, but it was delicious, and not overly sweet. The cheesecake was unique, 3 types of cheese, dense and mildly sweet.
I would order everything we had again, but they have so many choices that we will likely be back and try some of the other dishes.
The ambiance is romantic, and upscale, and the wait staff are very well trained. Over all it was a really...

We recently dined at restaurant, and while the food was quite good and our waitress provided excellent service, we had an unfortunate experience when it came time to pay. The restaurant only had one card machine, and when we attempted to pay with our U.S. credit card, the machine didn’t accept it. The staff member in charge of payments immediately suggested that our card was blocked, which was highly unlikely as we had just used it. We tried another U.S. card, and the same issue occurred. To make matters worse, we even tried a Chilean card from the couple we were dining with, and it was also declined.
Instead of recognizing that the issue might be with the machine, the staff member continued to blame our cards, making us feel uncomfortable and embarrassed. In the end, we had to pay in cash, with the assistance of our guests. It was a disappointing way to end what had otherwise been an...
