Holy Deer Cafe & Cenote — Restaurant in Tulum

My friend and I stayed at the hotel across the street from Holy Deer Cafe so we had breakfast here every morning during our stay. Holy deer Cafe is such a cute Cafe with a great atmosphere and chill vibes. The waitress had excellent customer service and was so kind! The food was delicious and very affordable compared to other places in Tulum. They had wifi available for customers as well. Great quality coffee and food but this is a VERY small place with only 2 tiny tables on the cenote side and a couple of regular size tables on the street side. The seating is just hard wood chairs and benches so it's not a comfortable place to relax for a while. Food takes a long time because there's only one person doing everything and their kitchen facility is just the cupboards behind the coffee bar. Terrible service. Rude barista. The menu is incorrect- I was served a drink with ice in it and told it was a “smoothie”. I bought 2 smoothies a coffee and 1 avo toast and It came to $59 DOLLARS. Also the potatoes that came with the meal were barely cooked! Rock hard and cooked in margarine. So gross. They didn’t even have lids for the Togo drinks so I had to struggle to get them home.
