The worst experience ever, in Morocco and all over the world. If I could give 0 stars I would immediately. We entered and understood in one second that the staff was terrible. The atmosphere is dark and humid. The menu which is displayed here in google maps doesn’t exist jn reality, and there is only “ voice “ menu, at least for tourists, to take better advance of them. We asked for more description regarding the list and received as answer things like “ chicken”. We ordered a tajin and a fruit basket, and received the worst food we could receive. We left everything and asked for the check: The owner, after we told him the chicken was horrible, ate it by our plate with hands and told us “ it’s good”, completely indecent by the way. Finally just to make the experience unacceptable the check: 195 dh for the chicken tajin, terrible tiny fruits, one coke, one Fanta and one little water. Absolutely bad experience, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE if you want to enjoy your holiday. Really sad to see tourists have a different treatment...

We had the chicken couscous and lamb tagine, and on both the meat was falling off the bone because of how well it was cooked. She even gave us a complimentary platter of dips including some of the best green Shatta either of us have ever had—which is saying something, because my boyfriend is a professional cook at a Michelin starred middle eastern restaurant in Washington, DC, while I lived in the Middle East for 2 years, so we know our regional food really well.
Definitely go here if you’re in chefchaouen! Thank you to the owners for a...
Read moreLarge choice of real Moroccan food. Give some time for preparation. You might want to reserve it was very busy the 2 nights we were here. It's a bit bigger than it looks from the doorway they tuck tables into the nooks. Really good avocado smoothies and everyone in my group enjoyed whatever they ordered. The photos of the Very blue buildings I posted are from the alleys and streets on your way to this restaurant. Chefchoean Village "the blue city" is not to be missed (& often missed!) . Wander up the hill into the kasbah thru the arches on the main street to discover the homes, boutique lodging, and many shops. Climb up over the city for views and work up a huge appetite for yummy...
