I chose this place partly because of the great reviews of the pastilla (although only based on 28 reviews at the time of writing). I think the quality definitely varies depending on who's in the kitchen....my pastilla was very cold in the center - the type of cold where you can tell it was frozen and not thawed fully through. The waiter fixed this by microwaving it. The kitchen is about 10 meters away in another section of the street. When I went to go pay, I could see that the tiny kitchen consists of a microwave and "panini like" press.
The dining spot is very cute and gives off the local vibe, which contributed to me eating here; but I'm not too sure about the quality and authenticity...
