I recently had the pleasure of dining at Caravane Café, and I must say it was an extraordinary experience that transcended my culinary expectations. From the moment I walked through the charming entrance, I knew I was in for a treat.
The ambiance at Caravane Café is simply enchanting. The interior is adorned with intricate Middle Eastern decor, creating an inviting and warm atmosphere. Soft, ambient music played in the background, setting the perfect tone for a relaxing evening.
The menu at Caravane Café is a culinary masterpiece. The selection of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean dishes is both extensive and tantalizing. I started with the mezze platter, and each bite was a burst of flavor. The falafel, hummus, and baba ghanoush were all exceptionally well-prepared.
For my main course, I opted for the lamb tagine, and it was nothing short of divine. The tender, slow-cooked lamb melted in my mouth, and the blend of spices was a symphony of taste. My dining companions enjoyed the seafood couscous and vegetarian moussaka, and they were equally delighted with their choices.
The attentive and friendly staff at Caravane Café added to the overall exceptional experience. They were knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations. The service was prompt, and they ensured that every aspect of our dining experience was perfect.
To top off this culinary journey, the dessert selection was a sweet revelation. The baklava was flaky and perfectly sweet, and the Turkish delight was a delightful surprise.
In conclusion, Caravane Café is a hidden gem that should not be missed. It's the perfect destination for a romantic dinner, a special celebration, or simply an evening of indulgence. The combination of exquisite food, a charming atmosphere, and impeccable service makes Caravane Café a top-notch dining establishment. I look forward to returning and savoring more of their...
Read moreBEWARE BEWARE BEWARE SCAM 🚨 My friend and I were lured into this place after been shown the cheap menu from the short man at the door with glasses. It was cheap so we went inside. He also asked us to read good google reviews. So please do! This man then give us complimentary whiskey (from a cola bottle) and promised us how good it was. The food and the female waitress I cannot fault . However , this is where the “scam began”. Please read and avoid… I’ve spent 9 years in the UK Armed Forces and it happened to me, so can happen to anyone. In conversation he mentioned cheap bars, he started changing on the terrace into a shirt and trousers in front of us. We finished our meal and he asked if we’d like to go for a cheap beer . We unfortunately said yes. First bar he had money and appeared to pay for a round. Then the buckets of cold beer kept coming for the 3 of us . Next bar we went to was much larger, ( called The British Pub) If you read this, he probably brings others in as he had a few heated discussions with the security staff, all which he said he disliked, and the large female bar tender. So, my friend smoked some Shish tobacco, that he highly recommended. Then his random friend come along. Who works at a restaurant at the square so knows all too well how to con a tourist . The bills come to over 600 DH and I had to go to an ATM to pay . The security and female bar owner were very abrupt to him and us. So to get out the situation I paid . He then followed us and asked us to pay more for the restaurant bill. I have met many people in my life , but this one was smart , and knew exactly what he was doing . Please beware or avoid this place and kind of scammer in Marrakech.
I have over 150 000 followers on my social media . I’ll be using it to highlight this place.

The first time that Google reviews gets me off guard. I dont know how is it possible for this place to have a rate of 4.6 when everything was awful.
We enter for early dinner, there was a person sleeping in the middle of the floor and another one upstairs. If you want a siesta nap, then dont keep your restaurant open. Someone's fleshly washed boxers hanged on the terrace, by your table. A random microwave on the roof. The waitress had no one else to serve but us and in a period of 10 minutes she came to smoke in front of us twice.
Most important, the food. Why we went there the first place. We weren't shy to order, even if the first impression got us discouraged. The salad was a leftover one, swimming in its juices. The Chicken Tajine was re heated and brought to us after 10 mins of ordering it. The chicken Pastilla was hard as a brick. Impossible to find something to like.
We paid regardless not having eaten any of it and expressed our comments in Moroccan, however the chef couldn't care less.
Thanks for ruining...
