Café Snack Chinguitti — Restaurant in Marrakesh Prefecture

I don’t even know where to begin with this disaster of a restaurant. I waited two hours—TWO HOURS—for my food to arrive, and when it finally came, I wished it hadn’t. The meat was so overcooked that I honestly couldn’t tell if it was supposed to be beef, chicken, or some sort of inedible rubber substitute. Look at the picture I’ve attached—this is not food; this is an insult.

The rest of the meal was no better. Everything tasted stale, bland, and like it had been sitting out for days. And let’s talk about the service: nonexistent, rude, and clueless. The staff seemed more interested in chatting with each other than serving customers. I had to ask three times just to get a glass of water.

Honestly, this restaurant is a complete joke. If you value your time, money, and taste buds, stay far, far away. They should be ashamed of calling this place...

The service we received today was absolutely delightful, I wish we had asked our waiter his name (we took a selfie together!)

We were initially going to sit on one of the terraces but it was very busy so we opted to sit outside downstairs, which was the best choice we could have made.

Overall disappointing. The food is the worst I have had in any trip I took. Literele no flavour, no salt no pepper nothing tasted of washed down produce and meat with no flavour or whatever. Would not recommend at all! The atmosphere and service was ok. The server we had was nice. Will only recommend if coming for a tea and nothing else as everything else tastes of nothing. The worst tasting food in Morocco, really need to work on that menu. Also the ingredients tasted so old and re-heated. Nothing was cooked for the order...
