The Mix Marrakech — Restaurant in Marrakesh Prefecture

We have booked this place for 4 people. Upon our arrival, we are greeted by this gentlemen at the door whom was attitude was very rude and condescending; to tell us that our reservation got cancelled for some reason and are unable to join our friends inside simply as the club policy do not allow 4 single guys. At first we did not understand and thought that was a funny matter to finally realise that the guy is so serious and that we should really be accompanied with girls to go inside. Two of our friends were already inside and have already ordered for us and we are stuck at the door. By standing by the door we noticed the number of people that are going away due to the attitude from the gentleman. I have then demanded to see the manager of the club to talk about the issue, the thing that has never happened. The reservation girl claimed that she was the manager and said that there was nothing she could do. I am a professional hotel manager and usually do not leave bad reviews unless the establishment I am attending is a disaster. Inside there is a young waitress who roughly said that I have to order food...I already ate Dinner before, so I rejected and just wanted to drink sth. She was annoying me again, so I left and wrote outside a Message to the party organiser. She came and she said drinking is obligatory but not eating. So I went in again and she told me to Rest at the bar. At the bar, another waiter came and said I can be at the place/table for 10 minutes because of Reservation and handed out a menu. I said I Just want to Drink a Coke and then he said I must order food. Even if I ordered food, should I eat it in 10 minutes and leave (because of the reservation of the table?!) This was too much for me...people are too much begging there to order. So, I told him I will Not order anything and left. Very annoying Staff, not a place to relax. At least, the bouncers...

Thought I would try again. This time it was trash. Possibly the worst service I have ever had in any establishment. The Manager walks around glaring at people watching your every move. It was ladies night so I was told ladies alone drink free I was alone. I was given a drink. I bumped into a friend who was male the waitress saw my surprise to seeing him and he left but then came back to sit and talk. That's when the drinks stopped and service altogether. I was ignored. Even when I wanted to buy a drink I was given dirty looks and bumped into. The staff have the poorest attitude I've ever seen and I am definately not coming back this time. Your doormen are great.
