Purple haze, all in my brain Lately things they don’t seem the same Actin’ funny, but I don’t know why Excuse me while I kiss the sky I bet this is the coolest and awesome rock bar in Thamel that you can find. Their stage is something different than any other bars in Thamel. Hall is pretty big and you will have good open space for head bang. Balcony offers the best view of rocking performance by local bands. Sound system is good so are the performers. Food is simply awesome. Especially on the weekends they might charge you for entry fee, that is less than five hundreds. But you will get complementary drinks. Pass your coupon on bar and choose your drink. If you are on a big group you can reserve a table prior to your visit (minimum 6 peoples). To be honest their toilets are not that good but you can easily adjust. It will be easier to adjust if you are drunk ?

A 4 story live band bar situated in the heart of thamel and you wouldn't even know it. You walk up this unassuming flight of stairs off the side of the street and it opens up into this massive spot. Like I said there are four stories with a live band in the front and a dance floor, multiple bars and food options. The only negative I would have is that the place is open to smoking so it is VERY smoky in there, like unbreathable smoky at some spots - literally kids chain smoking. Again, that is allowed, just something to be aware of if you are sensitive to that. We came here twice, the music is fantastic, though sometimes they play Nepali songs/sets and so you can't really vibe with that music. That being said some of the bands are just amazing.
