Himalayan Arabica Beans Coffee — Restaurant in Kathmandu Metropolitan City

We visited this café today and found it very busy, with all tables occupied. We managed to find a seat, but the overall experience was disappointing. The staff seemed unfriendly and overwhelmed, showing little attention to service. The coffee was just okay—nothing more—and it was served lukewarm. We asked for brown sugar, which was not brought to our table; it was simply placed near the staff without informing us, and I only noticed it by chance. At one point, we accidentally spilled some water and asked for help, but no one came.

Another issue was the smoke—although smoking is allowed only at the outside tables, the smoke drifts straight inside through the open windows, making it unpleasant for those seated indoors.

The café is clearly understaffed for the number of guests, and management should seriously consider hiring more people, especially during peak hours. Unfortunately, I won’t...

They do not care about their customers.

They have freshly painted a wall, put all the furniture back and opened for customers. I came, put my jacket on the chair and it got covered with fresh paint from the wall. I have asked "Why there is no sign anywhere?" With a grim on his face the guy at the cashier told me "Oh I have just spent my time warning girls before you". As if this makes him an excuse. He refused to write and put a sign there to warn other customers and I had to handwrite and put it myself.

No apology. No compensation offered. My green membrane jacket is covered with red paint spots. Not even a slightest attempt to make the situation better. Total indiffirence to what is going on inside your own place. I am extremely disappointed with such an attitude and I will...

This place is 5 stars all around. The food is wonderful every time (yummy omelettes and smoothies) and the coffee is seriously some of the best in all of Nepal (and I have tried many places at this point). Get a chocolate brownie- you won't regret it! The atmosphere is a friendly mix of local Nepali people and foreigners (common being in Thamel).

What really makes this place, however, is the friendly staff. Anita, Anjana, and Dan are wonderful people and they care for their customers. They have a lot of returning customers for a reason and they never forget a face or someone's go-to meal. They are the nicest people and it makes you happy to give them your patronage. This team is really the best and always brightens my day every time...
