I arrived at this wonderful hotel that was booked by my tour operator and it was love at first sight. All of the staff at this hotel treated me like a king. I was welcome and showered with the upmost respect and kindness. The room was very comfortable as was the bed the air conditioner work very well, and the bathroom and room were immaculate. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make my stay exceptionally memorable. It felt like I was staying with a favorite relatives home. I also love that the location was within walking distance of ATMs, restaurants, and shopping. The neighborhood felt very safe both during the night or day. A bonus was free coffee or tea. The Masala tea was incredible super delicious, the the breakfasts, and meals were delectable. After leaving to go to Chitwan, I made up my mind that on my return to the hotel that I was going to book an additional day because it felt as comfortable as being at home, fill with very kind and caring staff always willing to go above and beyond to make my stay picture perfect. Read moreThis is the best hotel I have stayed in since coming to Nepal six months ago. The customer service is absolutely amazing, you will be treated like a king. I had booked a standard room but requested to have a bath tub. The hotel upgraded me to a family room for free, which is usually more expensive, just because I had asked for the bath tub in the room. After arriving you will be immediately served a complimentary cold drink and the hotel arranges any transpotational needs you may have (for a very good price). After checking out of the hotel and having left the city I realised that I'd forgotten to pick up some laundry I had given to a small shop around the corner. Because I had no contact information for this shop whatsoever and wasn't able to return back to Kathmandu, I asked the hotel if they could provide me with a contact number. The employees went out of their way to go to the shop and pick up and store my laundry for me, until I was able to return to Kathmandu. These guys are absolutely amazing and I can only highly recommend this hotel as the best in Thamel! Thank you again for the fabulous service, I am sure to stay with...

The driver wasn’t ready at the airport holding a sign and it took a while to find him, would have been a lot easier just to get a cab to the hotel. No one showed me to the room and I was wandering around the labyrinth of hallways like a lost sheep until a nice guy from the restaurant took pity and showed me to the right building. There was no hot water in the room. My room was above the street and it was REALLY loud all night. Breakfast wasn’t great: the hard boiled eggs tasted like a garbage can and the meat options weren’t much better. The coffee was good, staff was friendly, the facilities were modern and appealing. I get the feeling they cater to groups and individual travelers fall...
