This place is quite nicely decorated, has pleasant background music set to a perfect level and is spacious and comfortable. I also want to say that the one time went here they served the tastiest pasta I have had so far in Nepal. However, the crushing disappointment is when I am served with Italian food and I ask for a small sprinkling of parmesan cheese to be told that I would have to pay extra for it. You are the only place on the planet I have visited who has done this. Swallowing my disappointment I carry in with the tasty pasta and once I get 90 percent of the way through an arm appears out of nowhere offering enough cheese in dish to sprinkle over 4 pasta dishes; a nice but totally futile gesture by that time. There's my problem, lovely pasta dish but totally mean attitude with a gesture too late to be of any value. Secondly and this is my opinion but had I read that there is a 10 percent service charge I would have never entered the establishment. To me, the establishment pays the staff, not me, to serve food that I have already paid for. If service is good I enjoy giving the gift of a tip to the staff who serve me. The prime example of your inconsistent service which I paid extra for is when a waiter tells me that I have to pay for a pinch of cheese, only for that decision to be reversed just as I'm finishing my pasta; I paid 10 percent for that? We came here three times during our stay in Kathmandu and enjoyed it so so much. The staff is very friendly and tries it's best to make your stay enjoyable and the menu is a great variation of vegetarian food that also omnivores will love including many vegan options. Coffee and other hot drinks can be served with soy or coconut milk upon request. Check for live music... There was a lovely Jazz band during our stay. When you come here, make sure to bring some of the amazing products of the brand vegan-dairy Nepal home which are sold here. I absolutely fell in love with their NoTella, the almond butter, pumpkin seed butter and pineapple honey are really lovely. They have the vision to do something good for your health and our planet so this is a brand that I really want to support. Came here twice in one day because of how delicious it was and the service was great. Definitely try their soups, I had the pumpkin as well as the clear mushroom. I liked the mushroom more but they were both great i tried the spinach and goat cheese salad which was delicious as well and did not have too much dressing on it. Their momos are very interesting. I had the kind with chocolate. I'm not a fan of fried foods so I would probably pass on those next time but if you like fried stuff try them they are unique. My partner had a pizza and did not complain or give much hype. My meal was the gnocchi which was interesting. I am not a huge fan of gnocchi to begin with but this was tasty with the oyster mushrooms.
