Bakery cafe — Restaurant in Amsterdam

Don't come here, the staff are incredibly rude, it is overpriced and the food itself is not fresh or hot. I ordered hot chocolate - it was luke warm. Others from my group order the pastries (which to be fair looked great in the window) but eating them, they said they they definitely weren't fresh or near as nice as other places we ate in. The reason I write this review was more so, due to the staff and their rudeness. One of our group order breakfast tea and after they order it, realised that they didnt get milk. They asked for milk and the guy serving said it would cost 50c. She took out her card to pay and he got all annoyed when she didn't have cash. He started giving out in front of our group and saying that she ordered black tea. He did give the milk (free of charge) but it was his manners that was not nice. Having worked in hospitality for years, being polite in this industry is key. We did not argue as we were taken back by this. We were not trying to get any freebies, as stated, the group member offered to pay by card but he did not want this. While we realise we are in Europe, and we come from a different European country, were we come from milk is automatically served with black tea to cater for all tea preferences....

Please shut down this place. People if you step into this place report it to the European Commission as is a big scam. They rip you off. We bought two cannabis brownies for €35 and when we paid, they didn’t showed us the amount on the card and they lied about the price of it and no bill with that. When we realised that we’ve been scammed we came back. We talked with another cashier and he said a different price but not the same we paid and then we talked with the one who scammed us and he said that his colleague doesn’t know the prices and also they don’t have a price list. After we asked for the receipt with the amount we paid, he took several minutes to produce one in the same time shouting and exchanging looks with his colleague and then we realised that the receipt was made up in the computer with some imaginary prices that’s the reason he took so long. He handed the receipt to me being very rude and disrespectful. They treat people very bad. Don’t be idiot and AVOID THESE SCAMMERS! They are not the lovely locals from Amsterdam but they are people who came here to do ILLEGAL things… Also the brownies are worth €5. You can find in different places paying...

If you entering this place, you stupid. The reason why? Because this place trying to scam people/tourists. First of all it looks sweet and colorful outside but once you enter , you won’t ever wish to come back anymore. The service -100/10 , ungrateful af, disgusting attitude, rude behavior…

There was a woman who sat there and wait for her friend to come and she got forced to order something but she calmly told the employee that she wait for her friend first. She got kicked out of the store because she refused to order. He raised his voice to her and she left in tears and embarrassed herself when this man has no shame.

It’s crazy how I experienced cuz I never see this in my whole entire life. For the people who reading this I hope you don’t waste your money on scammers. For the owners who open this business, I hope you taste your foods first before you open your business, like I said it’s -100/10.
